My precious baby my liberation notes has finally ended and I loved everything about it. Even the yeye open ending lol. I just realized the only times I shed tears in the drama involved lee min ki. My boy is an actor abeg lol, first was when he told his dad he loved him, then when he talked about always being the first to find dead people, and when he stayed by hyuna's ex at his deathbed. I think Hyun a broke up with him cos she felt she deserved only broken men and Chang hee was the best thing in her life so she was afraid she'd lose him too. I wish the writer made it very clear but I think I got it and I'm glad she came back into his life. I loved how he always talked about being a psychic cos his legs always took him to the right places and it was surreal to watch him accidentally enter the wrong class only for it to be a class that was his calling. I was like oh wow, lol he really is psychic. It's weird but I think I loved his arc the most compared to the rest. When he cried on his bike, I literally wanted to hug him. I was so glad uri samshik-chunja-okja-kimwoobin didn't die lol, I was scared after those guys beat him and he was unconscious for a bit. I was like eotteoke , my loyal baby can't die like this lol. I hope I see him in bigger roles in the future, I like the guy. I don't think tae hoon's sister and yurim hate the idea of Tae hoon and gijeong being together, I think they just feel like they need to be mean so gijeong won't get him easily cos no matter how much they badmouth her they still stylishly looked out for her. Lol gijeong and talking anyhow in bars tho, first it was against divorced men, now against 50 year Olds. That scene was hilarious. Now I can forgive lee min ki for the disaster that was oh my ladylord, hopefully Nana and minhyuk will redeem themselves in their upcoming dramas

My (hopefully) unbiased opinion : after school's song is a Japanese pop song. It's nice. I think my favorite thing about after school was the fact that they never really overdid their singing. They always sang on comfortable keys and were more about their stage performance so no matter how simple their song gets I still find myself enjoying it like comfort food

Shinee's song is nice too. They do what they do best, sing their hearts out and this is one of their few early songs where minho's rap didn't cause an earsore

I love sungkyu's song. It's pop rock. His voice is well suited for rock so he kills it.

TVXQ's song is a nice Japanese pop song

If I had to score after school, shinee and tvxq would get 3/5 and sungkyu 5/5

I'm referring to him as that because that was how I saw him for the most part of the untamed.

I empathised with him a little bit and I knew that he loved WWX but I thought he could have done a lot lf things better.

AND THEN!!!

I came across a tweet recommending some XiCheng fics and I was stumped. That was a pairing that I couldn't imagine lol.

In my head I was like why would you inflict JC on Zewu Jun the kind?

But I like knowing about things before judging (lol) so I started one fic.

All I have to say is OMO!!!!

There are so many layers to JC's character that I couldn't see and these fics + the awesome authors taught me about.

By the time I was done with the 5 recommended fics, I had so much love and empathy for his character.

I don't have energy to talk about how much I appreciate his character now. I can't wait to rewatch the untamed!

Okay I have to say that a part of me is upset that he let himself get played that bad.

But, he's so kind and soft and handsome (of course).

I loveeee how he can read LWJ so well.

I'm looking forward to diving into his character and all the things they couldn't show in the drama, through the novels later in life.

Sigh. I'm still as obsessed with the untamed as I was when I first watched it and it's only fan fics that are literally keeping me from abandoning my responsibilities to watch it again, lol.

I'm also super jealous of the talented writer and fan fic writers that can create and give life to characters like this. With so much depth and emotion and everything.

I miss writing.

I was really hoping lee seol would get to reprise her role in season 2 of d.p and maybe get some romance for Jung hae in but I don't think she's going to be part of the second season which is a bummer for me but oh well. I'm still going to watch and love it as much as I loved the 1st season
