Though this is very rare but some people complain that they when they reach the embassy, their names are not seen on the list. To avoid such, it’s advisable to persuade the petitioner to call the embassy by 9am a day or two before your interview to ensure that one’s name is on the list, someone traveled from Abuja to Lagos and got such devastating news on her interview day

They have laws ee, my cousin's boyfriend who applied for the American passport to visit her in Mauritius, this people denied their citizen passport oo, that he has outstanding Child support he hasn't paid up, nigga is owing child support, u knw the country favours the women most, they make money through this child support tin, they refused to gv him d passport asking him to pay in full but he refused because the money is much, my cousin was heartbroken. Now they want to meet in a country where he can go to without passport like Mexico, US virgin Island, Puerto Rico or anyone. Any advice?

Good tin is not ur business, so shurup. Only if u knw what they go through with women there, don't sit and talk sh*t. How many of ur guys here take up their children's responsibilities to the fullest. You got married, someone divorced you and is using child support every month to subdue you, you think is easy? Have you thought if he was stopped from seeing his children. You think they are Nigerian women that take every sh*t from naija guys.

Pray not to be in that situation with them, you will pay from ur an*s. Is not by going to America. my frnd being there for years said he ain't marrying them for many reasons. They will drain your pocket with child support

Now, she wants to invite me for 6 months to be able to see my baby and have nice time with them. How do we achieve this?
Does she have to file for me in the usa or send me invitation letter or i apply for visiting visa here in Nigeria?

The issue is that she's not working currently,but she files for tax return yearly. But her dad and mum are ready to sponsor evrything. They have a company they operate.
So,money isn't an issue for them. They're ready to fill in the space where needed to have me in the US.

If he’s owing child support or taxes, be rest assured the petition will be denied. So in order to avoid stories that touch after long wait, let him fix up his debt…..

Which end? Get married to you fiance and file a spousal visa. Except the reason for the denial is very fundamental and serious.

You say? K1 denial is very regular, nothing abnormal at all. The rate of denial is even higher than a spousal visa.....and you can't appeal a K1 denial.

The thing with K1 is that you are at the mercy of the CO. Even if you have all your documents and evidence of a genuine relationship and the CO feels something is not right (even without evidence), the applicant can be denied and there's nothing anyone can do about it. The only option is to refile the K1 or get married and file a spousal.
