1. The person is on the list. 2. Buhari is using subtle language to hint he will be directly involved in seeing his selection is accepted by all during primary and transitioned to victory in 2023. 4 Likes |

Let's think about what APC must do to defeat Atiku. 1. Highlight his theft and looting of treasury 2. Highlight corruption & criminal indictment abroad. 3. His lack of leadership in position of Executive power. 4. Atiku's controversial family background. In contrast, APC will bring someone that is clean and free of these flaws so they cannot be accused of pot calling kettle black. Who among the APC candidates above has a crime-free record, never looted public treasury, his root and lineage and birth record is identifiable and taint free, has demonstrated strong leadership in public service, is acceptable and welcomed in the six regions of the nation and can unite the country? 7 Likes |

helinues: True. Buhari gave plenty hints in that speech to the governors. Remove from that list anyone that has ever embezzled or carry allegations of embezzlement. Erase names with indictments in their past. Erase people with questionable citizenship. Erase people with weak leadership in position of power. Remove names who are not popular in all six or have support deficit in any two out of the six regions. 2 Likes |

MetaPhysical:It's foolhardy for one to believe that PMB will not be involved in who ever succeeds him .Just as the governors chose their successors, PMB will surely choose his successor. After all what's good for the goose is also good for the gander. SW people are postulating the person to be Osibanjo, others Lawan, but to me Amaechi is his preferred candidate for now Infants on this forum oya begin to abuse and call me names 2 Likes |

Tinubu has said there will be no consensus, but outright Primary. Anything short of that we not pass. If not, APC will have no candidate. Buhari does not own the party. Buhari and Tinubu have equal stake at the party, so Buhari cannot unilaterally pick another failure like himself to fly the party ticket. We are ready to fight dirty, and we mean it, so be prepared. 3 Likes |

Corporate2020: Where was Sanwoolu when Buhari met governors and said the party policy had been to support consolidation and succession at all tiers of government and he needed them to reciprocate and support succession for him? Why didnt Sanwo start the fight right there? Or did he misunderstand Buhari grammar that they must support consensus? |

The next president of Nigeria must be from the South, at this point I don't care if the person comes from the southeast or southwest or anything, as far as the person comes from the South, the Northerners are playing a game, if Buhari chose any Northerner to replace him they should just scatter everything, if we allow something like this to happen a day will come when the president and vice president candidate of both APC and PDP will be from the North all in the name of winning an election. 3 Likes |

ComrGeorgry: I agree with you 100% However, what is that thing "we will scatter" if APC pick Northerner? If we had the balls everything should already have scattered when fulani herdsmen were violating our ancestral lands, tormenting our women and laying siege and burning our villages, with federal govt giving them protection. If it didn't scatter then....when? See, Atiku just robbed Southerners two days ago and stole our turn on the rotation, was there any outrage? Some Southern Govs already looking for him to pick them as VP. IMAGINE!!! APC saw it. Their interpretation of it would be you can do the worst to Southerner and instead of showing rage he will still come begging North for forgiveness. What stops them from also picking North, afterall our leaders will go up North and beg for VP position. Eventually, like you said, President and VP will be North/North, muslim/muslim. So help me understand what we are going to scatter if this dreadful and ominous fear come true. Ive been preaching an end to Nigeria for same fear you expressed. Let Tinubu go rule Yoruba, Obi go rule Biafra, Atiku go rule Arewa. 4 Likes |

Buhari is vividly convinced in a particular candidate and is ready to remove his Agbada and roll his cuff to campaign tiredlessly all over the nation to ensure that such individual emerge under the flagship of APC as the next president of Nigeria. 2 Likes |
