Good day distinguished ladies and gentlemen.

Please as a newbie and someone who wants to get into the stock market, how do I get started?

No... actually the price of MACNICHOLS post bonus and dividend markdown should be N1.35 assuming a N3 pre-markdown price.

At 1st glance, the way to know is that a 1.2x multiplier effect on bonus will by implication, result to a 0.8x (80+%) drop-down impact on price. (pre-markdown peg)

Have highlighted these stuffs in time past.
...will just do a recap.
As I said then, use the formula:

1) Mp= Pbm- Dd... where a coy declares a dividend only.

2) Mp =Pbm- [Pbm(Br/Br+1)]... where a coy declares a bonus only.
And

3) Mp= (Pbm- Dd)/(1+Br)... where a coy declares both a bonus and dividend.
Pls pardon me, I initially made a mistake on the formula for the 3rd, but which has now been modified. ...however, the 1st and 2nd remains the same.

Note: Mp is markdown price, Pbm is price before markdown, Br is the bonus ratio while Dd is the dividend declared.
I had proven these formulas back then so those wondering how they were derived might wish to surf through my past post for guidance.

Using the 3rd formula where MACNICHOLS applies...
Bonus ratio Br is 6 for 5 or 6/5
Dividend Dd is 0.03k
Now if we assume a Pre Markdown price of N3, then Pbm= 3... Hence Markdown price, Mp= (3- 0.03)/(1÷6/5)= (2.97)÷(11/5)
In math, 1/v÷y is equal to 1x y/v (the Rule of DDoN)... So (2.97)÷(11/5) is the same as 2.97x5/11.
Hence Mp= 2.97x5/11= 14.85/11= 1.35.
This is the ACCURATE estimate!

In this instance, there'll be no need for an approximate or round off figure to the Mark down price since the company MACNICHOLS is a Penny stock tradable within the said peg of N1.35.
Depending on the coys pre-markdown price, Mp peg can always be computed using this guide.

Hope it's clear now.

Btw, for those who sent me Pms and messages asking what I'd do if I hold the coy (MACNICHOLS)...
Well, it depends on why you bought a stake in the company. ...was it with an INTENT to trade or invest?
While there are few positives looking at the coys last spate of FPs, I'd prefer to exit before Markdown.

A food for thought; Think of what the part in italics above can do to what in the short term, could've been due to you as a shareholder.
But then again, the company may have decided on this part for good reason. (that will be a discussion for another day)

CAVEAT: Pls read through my signature below.

What if Titan won't buyout the remaining minority?

You shouldn't bother yourself about it at all. It will arrive at your desired destination especially when you consider the projections for growth in the construction and infrastructural development industry.

We are in an inflationary environment globally and investing in real estate is an inflation hedging strategy.

What is a building made of? Cement, sand, aggregates, aluminium, PVC, steel rods, electrical, furnishings and fittings, paints, landscaping plants etc. And you will transport these to site o (diesel from petrol retailers).

Dem no dey use superglue to hold blocks together grin grin

So cement is needed to make that inflation hedge possible.

Oga, d one I dey talk about na SEC rule weda u be financial or no be financial stock, once u be major investor for a quoted coy and u own less than 80%, u must buy d remaining for d floor, d rule na say not less dan 5% u must buy for d same price u pay to become d major investor u must pay d minoroties on d floor. Titan buy more dan 80% of UBN at once off market so dem no need to buy anytin or minimum 5% again.

Most companies no dey comply though but na because most of d minorities shareholders na suegbe and SEC sef no dey recieve complaint and pressure from d minorities.

The most recent na Eterna where Preline won buy very sumol qty for N13 instead of buyig at least 5% of Eterna OS . If we follow dat rule, Preline suppose buy not less than 65 million shares for N13 but na far less than 65m units dem buy.

From Ardova to Eterna to Champions, na nothing less dan 5% dem suppose buy from d floor from minority shareholders but most of dem dey buy less dan 5% and get away with dat nonsense.

The seed for a mega oil boom has been sown. There is a high level of underinvestment in the fossil energy space. And couple with the ESG movement/agents blocking financing fossil fuel production, there is going to be a severe energy shortage. And that was why I placed Brent getting to $220 per barrel and natural gas hitting $17. But that would be after oil and Nat gas decline considerably first before they spike out into space.

I hold a contrary view to BBM. I'm expecting 2022 till 2023 to be a bumper harvest for EMs. It will be a parabolic rise never seem before. I expect NSE ASI to reach 100K if not more.

Summarily, my forecasts:

Brent $220 after it declines to $30 to $50 range.

Nat gas $17 after it falls towards $2.4

NSE ASI to 100K.

Do you Due diligence.

OPEC is meeting today. I don't see it spiking just yet. They have to step in to cushion the effects of EU ban on Russia's oil. This would be the catalyst to send Brent back btw $80 - $90. China and India have been buying from Russia at discount, so a correction is due after 5 months of green.

The West and Europe will breath a sigh of relief as inflation is already biting hard there. It has started already.

grin grin you think so? Just watch and see how events play out.

Another forecast : I'm giving those in BTC last chance to join NSE now or they see their BTC smashed to $5,532.85

And it could go lower.

$5532.85 is low na. Even in capitulation, Btc still has structure. There's a lot of structure btw $14k & $20k.

Based on charts from 2015, 2018 n 2020 when capitulation occurred, it was btw 30-70% drop below the 200 day SMA which usually takes place after the death cross. My best guess for Btc bottom for 2022/2023 is $14k3.

Why d need to send it back to $80 - %90?

Here my layman thoughts: Plausible reason could be that the current price is disadvantageous to Opec. But why or how?

1. Could it be due to reduced quota since China, India and few other countries buy Russian crude?

2. Could it be due to pressure from the USA? Does USA hold such influence on d Opec members?

3. Could it be that the inflationary effects on d dollar mean less value despite higher price?

If 3 is a major concern, then price goes higher not lower.

With inflation heating up and every central bank being hawkish on raising interest rates, no one stands to gain from high oil prices especially the West and Europe (we haven't even talked about Natgas). For the meantime, oil has to go back to it's true value. It's the magic wand that can temper the heated economic environment now.

Concerning Multiverse, I read in one site before now that they already did the reconstruction. Maybe writing to SEC was just a formality to officially update the share price and all that.

Though I don't know how far this could be true, but I actually don't trust all these SEC guys with their carefree attitude to work.

Share price to be updated to N2.00 while share holdings will he divided by 10.

Multiverse already on suspension today without any official mail to that effect.
It well with our country. smiley
