Reschedule ke🙂 I've waited for more than one month for this date. I'll be there tomorrow to capture

NIMC App is not reliable. I did name modification in April ( to my husband's name), I even used it for my passport which is out already but on NIMC app, the name hasn't changed yet. Go to their office, you will see that the name has been changed already when they track it.

If its modifications you did just forget the app. Even if you delete and reinstall the app. The best bet is to verify at any nin centre?

The thunder that will fire those Akure immigration office is still doing press up. What nonsense since December last year that I did capturing.

I can't find my appointment page printout. The only one I have, I have submitted it at the immigration office and I've my capturing tomorrow, June 3. Anyway I can download and print another appointment page online

Please, how can I get the application letter? Is it the same as the appointment letter?

Finally done with all approval, awaiting capturing at VIP 3 ... hoping I get captured soon...

They came in around 9am, first thing is they get your appointment page and verify your NIN, after that you are directed to an office where your files will be arranged for you then you proceed to approval for renewal but fresh will first get a confirmation then proceed to approval and it’s done in different places , don’t know if it’s just for kids...


Presently in approval stage, they seems to be delaying their purposely here cos have been here for almost 30mins now, yet to get my file and I need my old passport for my daughter’s approval and it’s with those doing approval....

Was asked for marriage certificate at my child approval section even though I will be debating it when I get back since am here with her mother and also can’t a divorced father get a passport for his daughter ? That is what am dragging with them as I didn’t come with any marriage certificate ....

Can you please provide information on the documents needed where files are arranged

Local Government letter of identification.
Birth certificate / age declaration.
2 recent colour passport photographs
Guarantor's form sworn to before a commissioner of Oaths / Magistrate / High Court Judge
Parents' letter of consent for minors under 16 years
Marriage certificate where applicable
Police report incase of lost passport
Submit application with supporting documents to passport office / Embassy / High commission

Is all these necessary for renewal or it is only for first issue

Hello guys!! My capture date is June 7th(Next Tuesday) DIY Alausa. I read somewhere here about people going to the Immigration office to open file before the capture date. Please is that compulsory? I just paid online and have gathered all the required documents waiting for the capture date. I don’t have time from work to visit there before the capture date. Even to get my leave approved for that date of capture wasn’t easy.
Please someone reply.

I finally got my biometric/capturing done. Process has been relatively straightforward, thanks to the contributions from this platform.
