Because of people like him, a lot of imolites are beginning to invest in Imo state, man is a proof that you can be based here and make it big.
A lot of investments are coming in, but no media publicity is given to them, you will get to know about them through locals in the vicinity.
exactly

Save more can't afford to build something average in New Owerri, else there won't sale, that district is meant for those that appreciate luxury. Look at Everyday supermarket 4040 branch, is probably the best Everyday supermarket branch in Nigeria and it operates 24/7 nonstop.

No it's not.
The best and biggest everyday mart is in pH

Las las Wike has stolen our Oil wells. If Peter Obi becomes president, can he bring out money to develop the East, he will probably be economical in doing his so called "prudent Economists" on us to impress the North. He's stingy to bring out money to take on a substantial gigantic projects as we can't any he executed as a Governor in his state. I would've preferred Dave Umahi as we can see tangible Products scattered everywhere in Ebonyi, but my fear is he's not popular and might not carry APC nominated presidential ticket. Maybe Amaechi will carry the APC presidential ticket. Atiku has stolen POS already.

The peace Imo is currently witnessing is a welcome development, but don't get too smug! It has little or nothing to do with your so called 'gallant security system' (whatever that means), but all to do with the fact that the bloodthirsty bastards causing insecurity in the south-east have left Imo (hopefully for good) and, for whatever reason, have now turned their attentions on Anambra....to try and make the state ungovernable for Soludo! BUT THE EVIL SPAWNS OF lUCIFER WILL ULTIMATELY FAIL!

This is so true. For whatever reason, they've decided to move their stupidity to Anambra State. I really wish Anambarians will rise up and totally crush them. Anambra indigenes should show them there's no place for anyone to come in and destabilise their economy

And with this comes a boom in agriculture, especially animal rearing. Snail farmers, fishery and poultry owners are cashing out big in Imo state. Even goat meat is not very expensive in Imo state

Uncle, move on because the Supreme Court has decided that case. Go and get your PVC and mobilize people for Peter Obi. That's the conversation we should be having now.

We want to vote for Peter Obi to fix the rot of the past, not to reverse Supreme Court verdict in your favour.

If Peter Obi goes changing the decision of the highest court of the land, how is he any better than those evil men we want to boot out?

good or bad government, the pace of building is very hard to keep up with. Owerri is being built by local and abroad money. By the time one road is tarred, 200 new plots are cleared elsewhere.

This is so true. I visited some lands at the beginning of the year. Even the person in charge of the land for me was surprised at the development that had gotten there between the last time he went and the day I visited.

As we were talking about the development there, we found out there were new areas being opened up... (This is around Obinze, opposite FUTO junction)

can you imagine

I strongly believe Owerri is approaching Aba for the biggest city in the SE. If it's not tied for #2, it's #1. If you look at it on Google Earth, the amount of growth that happened in the last 5 years is something else. It has more than doubled in size in that period. No exaggeration.

Sorry for the late reply. The lands are mostly located at Umuguma, Avu and Okuku in Owerri west (new Owerri). Those at Umuguma and Avu are actually above 2million but the best place to get a land now is at Okuku which shares a boundary with Umuguma. Most of the lands there are actually virgin lands, owned and parcelated by families. There are also lands being sold by realtors, but those are normally on the high side, but I can give you direct link to the families. In terms of documents, you will have to prepare the power of attorney ( after the agreement) which will be signed by the head of the family or the direct owner of the land. It will then be left to you to register it with the ministry of lands (I can still help in that regard). The price per plot is between 1-2.5 million for 'buy and build'. If you are the patient type, you can go for the ones between 500k-800k. I'm from Okuku, my family name and compound is an address, there is nothing to fear.
