Congratulations!
viclove04:
Good day, Everyone.

I am here to share my testimony so as to encourage others not to give up. I also read the success stories of others and learnt a lot and I am very excited to share mine with you all.

First Application - June 18, 2021
Refusal - Sept 21, 2021
Application for gcms notes - Sept 21,2021
Gcms notes received - Oct 27, 2021

Second Application - April 13, 2022
PPR - June 1, 2022

What did I do differently?
The refusal was based on two grounds - Purpose of my visit and Personal assets and financial status.
From the gcms notes, the rationale for those reasons were pointed out.

The first time, I did it all by myself. The second time, I decided this time around I needed the guidance of an expert to give it my best shot as I re-apply and so I contacted @justmellow of gcmswriters. website :www.gcmswriters.com and IG/Twitter/Telegram: @GCMSWriters handle. He is in deed an expert and can tackle refusal cases. He was my guide all through the process and he also wrote the two powerful write ups I submitted - The LOE and SOP.

For my first reason of Purpose of visit, that was tackled through the wonderful compelling write ups. The VO made an error by concluding that my choice of program and previous study and employment history had no correlation. That was wrong. My program was perfectly in line with my employment history and that was spelt out clearly in the LOE submitted.

For the second reason that has to do with financial status and personal assets, a lot of work had to be done here on this serious issue for about 6 months. That was from October 2021 till April 2022, I tell you, a whole lot of work really had to be done to build my financial status so that a better financial representation can submitted this time around. My bank accounts had to run for 6 months, from October all the way to April to give a better outcome. More assets and investments had to be put into the application. Investments, business and employment documents and so on were put in plus the outstanding letter of re-consideration that was very mind blowing and technical.

This time around, I applied as Self sponsored and did not use "third party sponsor" as I did in the first application.

I tackled every point written by the VO in my gcms notes and left no stone unturned with the help of the exceptional guide who helped me all the way.
When it was time to submit, he went through the final compilation and vetted, certified it good to go and I submitted it myself via my GCkey account.

To cut the long story short, I got the wonderful news on June 1, 2022. I am so excited. I am very happy I didn't give up and decided to re-fire. The truth is - I was very discouraged and almost gave up but I am happy I gave a shot and a better one at that the second time.

I give God the glory for making this a reality. And I want to encourage you all not to give up. Many got theirs on the 2nd and 3rd attempts. Just apply for your gcms notes to get a clearer picture and the exact red flags pointed out and give it another shot. Don't give up, just believe God, put in your best, get all the professional guidance you can get and it will come out successful. Wishing you all the very best.
Glory to God!!!

Congratulations dear, may Canada favor you!
Please about the 3 forms IMM5645e IMM1294 IMM5257b that's the study permit application made outside of Canada, temporary resident form and family information forms did you print out, sign and scanned before uploading to the portal? Or is it just to fill it, save and upload?
Please anyone with an idea of how these forms are uploaded should advise. Someone said the family information forms has to be printed out signed before submitting, how true is this?

Thanks. Amen.
You don't need to print out any of those forms at all. You don't even need to sign. It is an online application so you don't need to do all of that. Except you are not doing the online application but if you are, all you need to do is to just fill the forms, validate and then upload to the section indicated for it. That's all. That's what I did and that's the correct way. Best of luck!!!

Tell her to scroll down to the bottom, her application(s) are all there, she has been opening new applications all these while, it happened to me till I figured it out, so each time she logs on, she should look out for the 'continue application' button rather than starting an application afresh,

all the best

Ok

Since the person just finished a Diploma , its logical for him/her to go for an Advanced Diploma in a program related to the diploma program he/she just concluded at UNILAG

A 40 years old person going for a BSC as an international student could be up for Scrutiny by a Visa Officer and that's a red flag owing to the fact he/she will be seen as a matured student and not in the age range of an eligible person to go for a BSC

Await additional information from the gurus

To study in Canada, you must add up the following costs:

1. Total tuition fee $25,000 (assumed);
2. Living expenses $10,000 per year minimum; if you're staying for 2 years, you'll multiply by two.
3. Miscellaneous expenses $3000 minimum

You must show that you have the above readily available to study in Canada.

Hello,

All the schools in Canada do not have the same tuition fee, and not all program are of same duration.

So let's learn to ask questions properly and be direct.

Hello Showyoung,

As per the bolded, you don't assume tuition fee. Let the person be direct with his or her question to be able to get concrete and definite answer.

Some people just like to be spoonfed but won't take out a min to do research and narrow down their questions, then comeback to the house for help. Instead they ask bogus questions.
