Larride, I'm really sorry for this, especially as I imagine you're older than I am, but you are mad.

As in, ara n'agba gị.

You, your family and generation are mad.

What is this nonsense?

And bringing party talks into any conversation or argument that I hold here changes nothing when my post was clearly not even political in the first place.

Most of you can’t even hold a discussion without throwing tantrums like someone who they collected his biscuits.

All of you are sick in the head. Rubbish.

I am sure you are intelligent enough to know what I mean by “insider job”.

If you think “insider job” means it’s part of the congregation that carried out the attack then maybe you need to go pick up a dictionary of what that term means.

The church was deep at the center of the town very close to the King’s palace, for criminals to move to that location and leave swiftly means the tragedy was carried out by those that knows the terrain of the town very well.

I don’t know why most of you guys suddenly hibernate your thinking process whenever you want to have an argument or push an agenda.

When the dust settles and more information is revealed or the criminals are caught, everything will become clearer.

Meanwhile what I said up there remain true, japa can never be a solution for a country with a population of 200m. To fight insecurity, we need effective community policing.

Abeg make una help me see talk grin grin

And Naija saved the 50 people who were worshiping in peace from being slaughtered with bullets?

At least the shooter was killed in Uvalde was killed.

I need you to assure me right now that the killers of those 50 worshippers will be apprehended and brought to justice in Nigeria.
Do you think i am in any form supporting 9ja

The country is damn obviously.

Japa is excellent as i have stated earlier but IMO.shouting japa almost everytime even without the means to is quite insane.

Killings did not start today and will never stop. So I don't understand this your jejune question

What separates the cesspit Nigeria has become to other countries is that you at least know for sure the killers will be caught

Where have you seen criminals ever get apprehended in Nigeria? You had bandits attack a train. Federal Government property in Kaduna. Kill people, kidnap people And the government did not catch anybody. Could not apprehend anybody. Southern Kaduna nko? Middle belt nko

And you're here talmbout Japa is not a solution. No shit Sherlock. What is now the solution. What solution have you proposed here besides dropping megedefegede party man arguments

What solution is your party providing to stop this carnage. Stop telling people japa is not a solution while endless carnage and killing keep occurring in your party's watch and they are showing zero competence to come up with solutions.

Telling people to Japa is better than what your party is currently doing. They're arguably the reason more Nigerians cannot japa

You can't beat a baby and tell it how to cry

During the EndSars, I had an argument with Ib.ime about community policing and that is what my stand will always be. We have a lot of ungoverned space which criminals take advantage of to carry out their activities.

There has been debate and bills to decentralize policing in the country which has always met obstacles but it is something we must continue to advocate for. That is the only way we can effectively combat the numerous insecurity issues we have. COMMUNITY POLICING.

I have nothing against that people that want to Japa if they have the means and resources to do so but I still stand on my initial post that Japa can never be the solution for a country of more then 200m people because 10% of the citizens can’t Japa. It’s the honest truth.

I don’t know how party talk comes into the discussion when it’s not even as if we are talking about a party or an individual.

The reason I’m not against Larride is because I’ll be selfish too with my opinion if i was a very active deep party man.

If you want to JAPA, I’ll tell you to relax that Tinubu is here for you, that he’s the solution and will create a secured and conducive environment for you, I’ll even tell you that he’ll turn Nigerian to America or UK in less than 7 days.

What need to be said must be said to keep the political ministry and interest going. This is why I’ll never risk my life to vote for a Nigerian politician.

Don't make it read like Japa talk just start today. Japa has been an ongoing conversation and will remain and ongoing conversation in Naija, especially amongst Nigerian youth. This is not a new conversation or gist in Nigeria. Nigerians have been "Japaing" for decades.

If anything, today's killings only buttressed the argument for Japa for those who want to or are considering it because of their respective situations. Everyday, look around you and you will see enough reasons for young people to continue the japa conversation.

What kind of closure if any will the killing of the 50 in Owo bring when their killers can not be arrested or the Police held accountable for any of the killings and spate of insecurity?

In the first post to nihilist that I responded to, I clearly highlighted that community policing will be the game changer to our security issue.

We have a police force that’s understaff and stretched out, Infact the army is at the moment overstretched because they are doing the work of the police. Decentralize the police and let each community police themselves.

I have had this discussion before with ib.ime on this thread and my stance is clear. I do not do whataboutsim.

Infact I don’t even talk about APC like that or this thread but any small discussion whenever you guys see my moniker you just hibernate your thought process and start inferring what is not in my post.

We have been debating over 7 years. Debate no dey finish?

Yes. Migration is not a new phenomenon. People will always seek greener pastures everywhere they can find it and like I said before, I am not against anyone japaing if they want to japa.

My stance is simple, as a country of over 200m people, Japa cannot be the solution because not everyone can japa, so the question remains, how do we take care and protect that haven’t japa or don’t even have the means to japa? That’s why I mentioned effective community policing. It’s in my first post to nihilist but someone everyone missed it.

The police in Owo is grossly inadequate and understaffed. The whole security architecture needs a complete overhaul to combat the new realities we are currently facing.

No one is happy with the constant killings and insecurities and for the sake of those that can’t japa, A solution must be found. It’s simple.

Now that we highlight their glaring failure you deny them like an illegitimate child. We all know about Community policing Captain Obvious. Why then are your principals not implementing it. Why can they not catch anybody? Why do we have your leaders speaking to the masses like they are powerless citizens and not the ones entrusted with securing life and property

For the fact you have two brothers in UK, japa is more within your reach than others.

Japa usually starts with raising a few $k for down payment on a Masters. When you reach you pay the rest through hustle. Not saying you have it to hand, but if you have the will, with your family connections, only you can deny yourself.

I have a cousin that was admitted straight into British Army from Naija. Nigga was simultaneously applying for National Defence college when someone told him British army takes straight from Naija. That was 10 years ago. In the 10 years since, bros has married a doctor, bought a house outside his army accomodation, had 2 children and currently sponsoring his brother for PHD in Aberdeen, so that's two members of his family japa'd, and he funds that by doing Amazon deliveries or truck driving in the evening after army work. Infact there are many Africans in his regiment straight from Naija, Ghana, Gambia etc. Most those boys leave work 12pm (British Army na cruise) and they do lorry driving and deliveries all evening. Some of those guys own car lots in their home countries from the hustle.

What Roland is saying about having willpower has some truth to it. I was here on Nairaland when Dayo and Afrodoc japa. Afrodoc route took him through Trinidad, same with my cousin who had been trying to Japa for years. Afrodoc from there blended Aussie while my cousin blended UK and is now a GP. Ogbeche our mod of this section Japa with nothing in his hand but pure willpower. All he had was a degree in Agric and nigga was applying for various scholarships. I helped with some applications, next thing a PHD in Germany clicked. Last time I spoke to Ogbeche, he was solidified over there with a German wife and was touring Europe, with plans to visit here before pandemic took over.

I can never say I had to hustle to Japa because it was easy for me, but I have seen enough people do it even without Canada laying on easy work visa for them. If you are aged 20 to 30 with a decent education mehn, you'll be doing yourself a disservice not trying to Japa through education route

It is okay to run at the 1,850th sight of trouble.

Finally, real selfishness is for me, Dayo, Roland, Ibime, Nihilist or any of the other people who took the japa route to come here and encourage people to stay back and struggle for Nigeria. Enjoying Western system and telling people to stay back in Nigeria is the real selfishness.

I won't live anyone's life for him or her. Do whatever you want. As for me I embrace my cowardice with full chest and bailed out of Nigeria. If you're a coward like me find your way out to the nearest country you can even start from Ghana. And work your way out gradually

But if you're from the tribe of warriors stay back and fight for Nigeria. It's not by force to live the way someone wants you to
