Everybody knows that living in foreign countries especially the rich one's like America or UK is better than living in Nigeria.
However, coming here to shout japa truly is insulting to the ordinary Nigerian. How many people in Nigeria can afford to japa? Do you think there are people in Nigeria who can afford to japa but choose to stay in Nigeria? More important is this really the right time to talk about it?
Many people Just died, you start shouting JAPA, as if there are fools here that can japa but would not. As if it's very easy to. It just looks to me like arrogance or foolishness. Arrogance on the people who are already there and now shouting japa and foolishness on the person who is actually here in nigeria, can't move out, at least not yet and then is shouting japa just when lives are lost. I can't japa because I have Many people dependant on me and I am also above employment age in many countries. I get your point as for voting. I have voted for PDP 3 times in a row now and nothing has still changed in the country. But that doesn't mean I should not "try" to change things na.

The reason we say Japa is because there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to fix Nigeria, but there's at least hope of an escape.

If you feel insulted by advice to escape, and prefer to live in a society where you can be lynched by okada men for 100 naira change, burnt to death for a post in a WhatsApp school group, shot because you didn't sit at home on Monday etc, whilst your oppressors get away scot free time and time again, then I humbly apologise, as you clearly deserve Nigeria.
