This is my very close friend. We met in 2005 when he was assistant Parish priest at St. Peter's Catholic Church Ajaokuta. God, please intervene for Reverend father Christopher Itopa Onotu to be free from his abductors.

so sad. but our christian leaders should realized that Nigeria have really changed on the wrong direction.
is it not time for the christian bodies to seriously invest in the safety of their leaders, as well as their members, instead of relying on a reactionary government for their security. the huge amounts the churches are paying for ransom to these heartless kidnappers/ bandits, is more than enough to put in place a security system that can checkmate and even destroy these evil bandits and stop their nefarious activities, instead of crying helplessly to a non-responsive government agencies.
for how long will they continue to cry, and enrich the bandits as well ?

BadNews:
Gunmen have abducted Rev. Fr. Christopher Onotu, the parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Obangede, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Gunmen invaded the church at about 9pm on Saturday June 4, entered the priest’s bedroom through the window and whisked him away to unknown destination.

It was gathered that members of the church found out about the incident on Sunday morning when they arrived for the first mass.

A member of the Church told Tribune Online that the abductors went away with the priest’s car.

"They dropped his two phones but went with the sim cards. The activities of gunmen in the central senatorial district of the state have had residents panicking for the last few weeks." the source said.

he has been on this racket for many years polluting this forum with pictures of his dirty ass because he's looking for who to dash him free money instead of going to find a job like every other human being.

This country is doomed. While the whole place is on fire, some people are in Abuja having marathon meetings on how to seize power for themselves. When will we collectively shun this people the way they shun us?
It will never happen. Nigerians love to suffer and the politicians knows these. Poor education, poor infrastructures, poor power supply, lack of good jobs, unpaid workers, the list goes on but they will still raise their voice for corrupt politicians because of tribalism.

We are in an unopposed war with cretins of Government. The security agencies now aid and abet criminality and terrorism in Nigeria.

Another 100 million ransom
Kidnapping a Catholic cleric is bad market because the Catholic Church wouldn't pay a dime as ransom.

Christians wake up jihad is about to take place... The Muslims will only be in shock, they will not arrest any since they are in charge (thanks to Yurobas in 2015). They are all the same how many Imam have they kidnapped? How many mosque have they invade during worship time? How many Christians have they killed and has any of them been arrested? Even those caught in tape killing and burning people are charged with public disturbance. They tend to hide their practice, bomb blast was reported as gas cylinder explosion, a Christian killed at lugbe Abuja is reported as a Muslim, Deborah Samuel they erased Samuel and injected Yakubu... All these are to placate their atrocities. God will shame you people. If you are a Muslim and you are annoyed with these evil act, speak up.

Tribalism and religion are the biggest problems we face in this country. And quite frankly, it wouldn't have been an issue save for the side of the divide that has an agenda. It's sad that Nigerians may have to endure another 8 years of suffering if that tribal card is played again and Atiku is elected

A very nice man really. I still reminisce the day he picked me up and I accompanied him, one after the other, to three different mass at the out stations under St. Peter's Ajaokuta parish. It was fun at the same time exhausting.
