Mamatukwas: Anyway , it was in this same uk that some teenagers took a toddler to one station or was it rail tracks and killed him. With bullies they are usually carried away by the crowd or their followers edging them on! |

babythug: It’s very unfortunate. May we never know that kind of sorrow, Amen! You can’t shield kids forever but I really just pray that life is kind to mine. Some things are heart breaking. |

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for the insights I need your help in comparing two offers I got recently, 1 from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and the other from Swansea University in Wales I intend going with my family (1+yr old, 5 yr old and husband) 1. Which of these two is more family oriented 2. More tolerant of blacks 3. Has more part time and post graduate job opportunities (Data Science) 4.Good schools for Children |

GlamMrsO: I don’t know too much about Swansea but I know Aberdeen scores alright on all 4 points you’ve raised especially as regards diversity and jobs. Swansea is smaller so might be more family oriented. It depends on what you’re after ultimately. |

Lalaity: Devon is historically very expensive. It's also a very large county. Where in Devon? It stretches from Plymouth to Exeter to Ilfracombe |

Kudos to a everyone here for all the wonderful insights shared here .I have really learnt alot, thanks very much . I have a 11 years daughter that will be joining me with the rest of the family very soon on a dependent visa (maybe a month or 2 months time) and I am planning to get her registered in the nearest grammer school as soon possible . she is already in jss2 in naija and have the intellectual stuff for the grammer school entrance exam but I need advice how to get started. What is the procedure for registration and other things I need to consider .And is it compulsory for her to have uk primary education to be considered ? And assume she doesn't get admission this year because of late registration, can she still be considered by next year when she is already 12 years . 1 Like |

I hope to be in UK by August on a tier 2 visa but my family will join me later on, possibly by December or January. Please, how do I sort the children's school out as school would have resumed in UK by September? Do Primary and secondary admits within the year? Thank you 1 Like 2 Shares |
