Ondo Church Attack: Defend Your People, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Tells Amotekun. by plaindealer: 6:18am On Jun 06, 2022

The group advised that if they should wait for federal police and security agencies, their land would be overrun by Fulani terrorists.

Reacting to the massacre, an experience Igbo people have also been subjected to, Ohanaeze through its spokesman, Dr Alex Ogbonnia, regretted that in all the attacks since last week and previous weeks that were linked to Fulani terrorists, the relevant authorities have appeared to have no solution to nip the situation in the bud.

Ogbonnia said, "I know one woman from Ihiala Anambra State and grandchild were shot and they are already dead. I just finished speaking with their relative and you called. It has become a daily occurrence in Nigeria, the Fulani menace, and it doesn't appear as if the relevant authorities are in any way prepared to checkmate their atrocities.

"The other day we finished with the Prelate of the Methodist Church. He narrated his experiences. My neighbour here in Enugu was kidnapped and taken to the bush by the same Fulani herdsmen and his experiences are very horrific. They have spread all over the South.

"So it is very unfortunate that this kind of thing is allowed to continue happening every day. Today we talk about Fulani herdsmen, you talk about kidnappers, unknown gunmen, you talk about bandits, so how can the country grow?

"How can we have sustainable national development with all these kinds of violence here and there? With the instability of all kinds, how can we grow?" he asked, adding that any right-thinking person would condemn the criminal activities of Fulani herdsmen in the country.

Ohanaeze, however, condemned in its entirety the mass killing of worshippers in the Catholic Church.

It said the Nigerian government must curb the problem before it gets to a point where the people will have to take up arms to defend themselves.

"We regret that this has become a daily occurrence. It is also very unfortunate that the relevant authorities have not been able to overcome this kind of atrocities. Just as it happened in Ondo, every other day in the South East, we have been encountering similar problems.

"Finally, we still ask the chief security officer of the nation - the presidency to buckle up (sic), rise to the occasion and also to ask Amotekun to buckle up (sic) too; because if you wait on Federal police and other federal security agencies, they cannot help us.

"In the same way, we are calling on the South-East Governors to buckle up (sic), like what Ohanaeze has been telling them about the South East Security Network (Ebube-Agu). There's a need for us to increase security consciousness across the South East and the entire South. We cannot wait until we are subdued no, we cannot wait.

"There is this saying that somebody surrounded by the enemy is always vigilant - it is another way of telling the South East, South-South that they have to improve on their security consciousness because security as they say is a collective responsibility. That responsibility is a product of consciousness."

Provided the governor's continue playing pranks with the ban on open grazing to win election from the north, the fulanis will remain in the bush and continue kidnapping and killing.

If they want to kidnap in the north, they will kidnap 100 people at once to raise 200m naira ransom but down south, only one victim can pay them 100m ransom. That is why they have perfectly and strategically taken over the southern Forests because it is good for business.

Ohanaeze should stop advising these slaves. The moment Akeredolu publicly stated it was Malians trained in Libya that committed that massacre in a Catholic Church in Ondo, was the when I gave up on them. No Igbo governor can be that insensitive and irresponsible without the Igbo nation home and abroad coming after him.

Anyways that's the path they've chosen and I can safely say it's all over. That region is currently where middle belt was some years ago but they're now 90% conquered. They've betrayed their coming generations and would forever live to regret it.

Tinubu becoming president is more important than the lives and safety of their people. He has used this sacrifice to compensate.

Its so sad and hurts that we all know very little or nothing would be done.. in fact, before the end of today, all talks would have shifted to the APC primaries... thats the kind of country we have today.

Nigeria failed them.. Goodnight comrades..

You guys are still talking with tongue in cheek? No mass anger! No nothing!! The Yoruba masses are even joining their leaders to be politically correct and being careful not to offend Fulani leaders.

This Stockholm syndrome is the first sign of a conquered people. I think it's even almost too late for you guys to do anything now because they've completely surrounded your region in very large numbers. My hope is on SE and SS to stand strong and protect their region against what is coming.

That's what everyone sensible and sensitive governor should do and not tag the terrorists malian militants abi wetin again. But come to think of it,does it mean our borders are that weak and open that anybody from anywhere can cross and enter at will. Check the crossriver saga and then this? What's our security agencies doing and our government? Honestly this country by God's mercies will be redeemed. Let's be hopeful Sha

It's comedic and even laughable that Ohaneze and their SE governors and leaders sit comfortably, and did not lift a finger or do anything to stop the daily bloodbath occurring under their nose, but as usual, they have so much to say about happenings in other regions.

The cowards clap for their killers and UGM murderers after slaughtering their own people, even Peter Obi openly absolved ipob of any wrongdoing after killings and burnings all because they are all cowards, the fear of ipob slaughtering their, slaughter their families and burn down their mansion is the greatest fear.

Tomorrow is sit at home and certainly and sadly, some of your people are destined to die, killed and slaughtered by your own people, a daily and weekly affair, but these cowards and hypocrites are issuing advice that they really should be swallowing every second of the day.

Abeg STFU, charity begins at home.

The SE is the most violent ane blood-soaked region in Nigeria and instead of mass protest, we see you hail, clap for and celebrate your UGM brothers.

When are you going to start your mass protest in the SE?

After the sit-at-home deaths and burnings tomorrow, are you going to do mass protests?

IPOB Not Responsible for Imo WAEC Students Attack - Peter Obi

Former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has absolved the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB of being responsible for the reported attack on school children sitting for the West African Examination Council, WAEC examination in Imo State, Igbere TV reports.

The former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential running mate in the 2019 general elections, stated this while speaking to journalists following the report of the attack which fingered IPOB as the mastermind of the attack.

He said, “I do not believe any Igbo man would contemplate attacking innocent school children

Just imagine, after absolving Igbos, the real perpetrators, he said Igbo man would contemplate attacking innocent school children.

So, who did? Who is responsible for the killings and blood bath in the SE.

See the kind of foolish characters, hypocrites and cowards they call leaders in the SE.?

We aren't asking the right questions.

How did assailants move in their numbers to the church location without being spotted by security agencies? Check points etc.

How is that we've never caught these cowards that go about attacking unarmed people even for once?

Who is protecting them? Who is giving them intel? Who letting them pass security check points unhindered?
