You are assuming every south easterner is well educated , refined and will not sell their vote for less than 100 USD .

I was an electoral official in 2015 and I saw vote buying by APC and PDP in full glare in the north. I don’t think south easterners will reject such funds especially those that have had their businesses affected negatively due to the sit-at-home nonsense that’s been going on for a while in that part of the country

Begging delegates and begging the masses are two different things

Tinubu is sure that 3 delegates from each local government would vote from Akwa Ibom. He may even know their names and numbers

But he can't be sure if 400,000 registered voters would vote for him

Winning elections are much harder
