How About An Osinbajo/Kwankwaso Combo on NNPP Platform? by AntonVince: 12:28pm On Jun 08, 2022 |
The results trickling out of Eagles Square, the venue of the APC's presidential primary isn't any different from what most political analysts predicted should Buhari stay aloof. It would indeed have been the 8th wonder of the world if any of the other aspirants had managed to out-spend Tinubu in the US-dollar bazaar in Abuja. Party primaries are however different from the election proper. It's an undeniable fact that Osinbajo, by virtue of his pan-Nigerian appeal would've beaten Tinubu blue and black were this to be a poll involving all Nigerians. ...and with political realignments and horse-trading preparatory to 2023 bound to commence with the conclusion of party primaries, one potentially lethal combo that keeps playing in my head is an OSINBAJO/KWANKWASO ticket on the platform of NNPP. What do you think? 1 Like |

That can't work but rather set us into another wild wild west reality, Tibunu and Osinbajo would start another rivalry more controversial than Awolowo and Akintola, Osinbajo had tried, he should retire quietly, it us up to you to chose from other candidate, personally Obi is my candidate but I respect your right to chose yours. |

AntonVince: This is the consolation losers always have. You think everything is about money? Tell me how much money you will give to Sanwo-Olu that will make him not vote Tinubu. Tell me why pastor Bakare could not get one vote. When are you guys going to accept that Tinubu is the greatest politician of this era? 1 Like |

AlexBells: This is about Nigeria and Nigerians bro. No one cares about any rivalry. As for Obi, I'd vote him if the election were to hold today but unless we're deceiving ourselves, PO will require an alliance with a very strong political force up north to mount a strong challenge in 2023. He should have stayed back in the PDP to pair Turaki once again. All they had to do was to commit Atiku to a solid agreement of a single-term after which he'd support a South Easterner. |

LegendHero: Why would Tinubu need to bribe Sanwo when they jointly sit on the destinies of 12million Lagosians? What bribe could be bigger than a surrogate role at the helm of affairs in a state that belongs in Africa's top-7 economies? ...and we don't need "greatest politicians". We need the greatest minds genuinely committed to improving the lot of hapless Nigerians and not some corrupt power-mongers only seeking to fulfil some greed-driven "life-long" ambitions. By the way, the greatest politicians hardly ever clinch the ultimate diadem. It won't be any different with BAT. |

Shame on Osinbajo. God is paying him the evils he and his wife have been doing to their subordinates and family members. I'll spill all the evil Osinbajo has committed in the villa! I learnt even his security aides are very happy with this embarrassing defeat |
