Dostartlimab, new drug cures colorectal cancer after trial. https://nairametrics.com/2022/06/07/dostartlimab-new-drug-cures-colorectal-cancer-after-trial/ I remember the big boss @RabbiDoracle mentioning the various things GSK's global organisation has been cooking in terms of their arsenal of new drugs in the medical field. This discovery also supports the positive view that the big boss, @Onegentleguy has been singing about the company. |

I foresee some line of benefit trickling down to the Nigerian entity. As I highlighted in time past, it's very pivotal to align with this company. Notice the connection of recent events with what we have been saying here. It is well. 3 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI: As at Dec, 2021, the foreign entity owns a collective 46.4% via Setfirst and Smithkliine Beecham. (27.3% and 19.1% respectively) ...a 5.7% stake by Stanbic Ibtc nominees brings the total substantial holdings to 52.1%. The balance of near 48% amounting to approx 572.46M unit is free float. As for the part in italics, worry not! Mr Time will eventually help set matters straight and put things in their right perspective. It is well. |

OBAGADAFFI: You raised a very good point that we may have been underestimating that company. Oga @Onegentleguy don talk plenty things so tay I doubt he still has more saliva to spare on GSK PLC. More blessings to you Sir. The lease of that manufacturing facility to Fidson PLC transfers a huge cost component to Fidson PLC and will enable the company to focus more on funding research development and marketing its successful products. It's similar to how Apple or Amazon operate with their business model. Imagine if banking and non banking financial institutions had Uber or Bolt driver as marketers for their products and they share the income earned from each client onboarded via a commission structure? It reduces the cost that would have been spent on cars, depreciating assets as well as human capital costs which allows the company focus on product designs and service systems. 1 Like |

yMcy56: yMcy56:TRANSCORP! Sighted @1.39 earlier! @Mpeace hope you're still in the bus ....... I hope Loco is still in the bus too..... As for FBNH, risk takers should just keep eye on this space as well.........let them keep dumping it..... They forgot that if Otedola exited around 874million units for reason best known to him, it's another heavy duty that's buying............we keep watching how the billionaires are playing the game.... 1 Like |

If you are waiting for it to get to N9, you might miss out, as Femi himself might still comeback to mop it up. I dont believe he would just let his full intention to sell some part be known. Lets keep watching!!! NOTE: Qualification for their 0.35k dividend is Monday 13th, so lets keep that in mind also. thesilentone: 1 Like |

dharpzee:You seems to be thinking what I thought of too. Otedola may need to quickly take care of certain contingency or acting on the inteest of another friend, thus cross some FBN units to him..... How much is 600M+274M units sold compared to the billions he already acquired? Is he going to now neglect the remaining over 7% shareholding in FBNH or wouldn't he still be interested in generating profits on that? He's selling now, he may again come back to pick more than the units self. You can't predict those power hungry guys. Maybe I dey over-think it sha, make we dey watch....... |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by thesilentone(m): 11:34am On Jun 09, 2022 |
dharpzee: There is a lot of 'might' in this statement. As usual, nobody knows what will happen as Mr/Mrs/Miss Market has a mind of its own. My posts are simply based on the chart. What Femi decides to do or not do is entirely up to him. His intentions or lack thereof cannot be hidden from the charts that is why the reason for the sell-off is not important. It has been said overly that there is only one reason why people buy stocks, they expect it to go up (not always the case) even insiders get it wrong BUT there are several reasons why people sell (school fees, divorce, marriage, midlife crisis, infact anything). Riddle me this though, do you think these huge sellers don't know that dividend qualification is next week? Maybe they are not dividend investors(as a strategy) but simply traders who are happy with making their money from the market and getting ready to re-enter the market at a later date. It could be a whole range of factors. My callout was just a caution that cheaper prices might be available not a call to sell. Trust but verify. 4 Likes

You are definately right ma, seems he might have used that as a loan cover, and be back, after using the funds, to mop back his position. Time will tell, lets wait and see. As for me, I don enter am fully and using their dividend as interest on the risk, while I wait for the big boys to do the usual, to move it back up (double gains) yMcy56: 1 Like |
