When did you apply?
90% sure its ppr if you got medical request
oppemipo:
Good morning NL families,

I got a medical request this morning for a family of 3. I'm the primary applicant, anyway.

Please what is the chance of Visa approval after passing medical?

2. Which of the facility is faster to have the medical done? Qlife or IOM? Abuja or in Lagos?

Your contribution would be highly appreciated.

Thank you

Please can you explain clearer, I read a lot of people send their passport to Abuja instead of Lagos, despite staying in Lagos, why is that?
CharitoJames:

Congratulations... you can’t walk to vfs to submit document... even if you stay across the office... you must use courier. I will advise you send to abuja

Way to go....there is a higher chance of getting approved once you get a medical request.

Hello house,

Can a recent fixed deposit be used as PoF??

Yes, if the maturity date is near and not after the program start date and that the FD certificate states that it will be disbursed into your account at maturity and it carries your name.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ontime22: 1:10pm On Jun 09, 2022
Their dad stated that in his sponsorship letter. He was also part of the application even though his was a visitor visa and his was approved first more than 1 month before mine was approved. I am the principal applicant.
Iffylove:
Send a letter of consent which is to be written by their dad through mail and webform to IRCC. Your spouse should state that he is fully aware and give his consent for them to travel with you. Attach a copy of his international passport.

Please is there any school that don't accept tuition deposit until visa is issued in Canada? Two different schools are still with my deposit till date. I am yet to get them.

If you are a first time applicant, it's an SOP (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE) you gonna write not an LOE (Letter of Explanation)

That being said, you will find the contents in the link below useful as a guide to draft your SOP

Don't rush doing medicals now if you haven't gathered all necessary requirements for study permit application.
Reason : medical has only 1 year validity

Ok but is there still much time for a program of Jan 2023

No one can authoritatively say when ircc gives decision.
We have seen applicants get decision in less than a month, we have also seen those whose applications have lingered more than 6 months.
Just do your best and drop your application latest before the end of next month.
Do your best and leave the rest to God.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Uzoamaka123: 2:24pm On Jun 09, 2022
I submitted my application on the 26th of June.
Did biometrics on the 1st of June.
The biometrics hasn’t still updated to passed.
It’s still showing we need your fingerprints .

Even though under applicant information, it’s showing the biometrics enrollment date, biometrics number and expiry date.

Pls what should I do?
Do I send a message via webform or call vfs

Thank you for your response!
So the plan is to fix the fund few days before submission and mature date would will be about 2-3 week before resumption … does that work?

Plus, a FD of 11m naira will suffice to acquire a study visa, right?

Good morning family, please I'm.filling my imm1294e form and there are some sections thats a bit unclear.
1. For the cost of study I'm going for a 4 year PhD program, does this means tuition for a year or for four years ?
2. Similarly does the funds available for my stay means for the entire duration of program or per year?

3. I received a fully funded scholarship when indicating my fees would be paid by other do I simply write "Scholarship"?
Note I had previously chose "No" in the eligibility page inquiring about scholarships because the awarding institution in this case my University wasn't listed among the awarding bodies

Pls guys help me clarify, thanks again

A post secondary school program.
Graduate certificate.
Another question, I have letter of acceptance and another letter from the school titled confirmation of enrollment. Is this the same as Offical letter from school?
This is part of the document generated by the new portal.
