Thugs Attacks Igbo Traders Who Went To Register For PVC In Lagos

These are Lagosians in Ojo Local Govt of Lagos Lagos thugs stopped and chased them away from registering to vote - next year, they'll chase many of you out of polling units if care is not taking.

This is coming days after the traders announced that they will be shutting down their shops today to get their PVCs ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Igbo traders closed down Alaba market to register for PVC in Okoche LGA HQ today & Lagos thugs were sent to disrupt the process.

They attempted to carry the only @inecnigeria PVC machine at the center but the crowd overpowered them

This is unacceptable!

First, this wasn’t about Igbos. These are the true facts behind the trending videos. The entire Alaba International Market decided to close the market today to enable the traders register for their PVCs. A phased closure would have been better. Consequently, the Ojo Local…

This 2023 elections in Lagos won't be funny. The same MO they used in attacking Igbos not to vote in 2019 Governorship elections is what they will do this time around for presidential elections..... Cos Tinubu is on the ballot.

In fact it will be worst this time.... Thugs will likely be at every polling boot in Lagos on the orders of you know who..... Carried out by MC Oluomo.

This is what the op on this thread rightfully pointed out

https://www.nairaland.com/7162750/why-nigerians-feel-se-isnt

When I went through his thread I couldn't agree more with him, if Igbo are 5%, dot in the circle, irrelevant, why not leave us alone to vote for our choice? Why do they keep frustrating us if we aren't relevant.

I see Peter Obi getting 8 million votes next year.

This I have seen.

Sebi Igbo's are the only trader in Alaba market

See how inferiority complex is doing some people shaka shaka

To set the record straight, all the non indegenes in Lagos with PVC are not even up to 500k cos it's a measure to check balance non indegenes influence across all the states in Nigeria.

Why should Igbo's registering their PVC be a threat to anyone. How many PVC's have they collected in their region?

So why would any Nigerian be stopped from registering for PVC which is a civic responsibility?

Why are the security agencies not arresting the idiots and their god fathers?
When an Igbo man decides to defend himself from aggression now, otelectuals will start making noise. ESN comes to mind

If there is any iota of sense in your empty skull, thats the question you should be asking?

Stop asking unreasonable question, Igbo traders have union in Alaba, they made an announcement that they'll shut down their Shops to go and register for their PVC, only for them to be attacked in the process. Yoruba traders didn't close their Shops in Alaba, If you are not in Alaba Stop asking unreasonable question

We are the most accommodating people indeed.

I will permanently resist living in some parts of the country.
What Nigerians go through inside Nigeria, is worse than anything in the world.

To hell with one Nigeria until I see fairness.

Igbos need to get guns ready as was done in Kano then. Any fim, you kill one, the rest will run into Osun caves. I know them. Years back when I was building, that was how about 40 of them gathered and stopped work on site. I immediately called the Area Commander, who sent his team. Once those one shot one bullet into the air, all of them vanished.

Cowards

If they say igbos votes are insignificant, why are they so bothered about who and how they vote. Same thing they did at Ago during last election trying to scatter polling unit that will not give apc votes, until d igbo boys dealt with one of the Agbero.

Your god was shouting to allow him go for primaries, so why sending thugs to discourage ppl to register?

Igbos have Vice Chairmanship positions in about 5 LCDA/LG in Lagos under the current APC government but Wizarab says Igbos are not safe in South West. Na this hypocrisy and tribalism go end all of you including any Yoruba folks deliberately spreading that propaganda

Yorubas feeling intimidated in lagos. Heard they were too scared to engage the guys in a physical fight and preferred to throw stones from afar. Cowards.

Remember this is happening a day or two after Alaba traders made their intentions known that they will be shutting down for the sake of PVC today. So it's obvious they are feeling scared and intimidated.

Igbos across the country really need to unite. Fr fr

Hmm, everyone has liberty to vote , they shouldn't be stopped from getting their voters card and they shouldn't be forced to do so by the authority nor the union either . From the announcements in the video they are enforcing it which isn't right.
