In my secondary school days, we boys called them seniors whereas girls called them school mothers. What life lessons did you learn from them?
I will go first. I learned to brush my teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed time. I still do it. I learnt to wear white boxers or white themed boxers only, wear white singlet, use white bedspreads and even right now, I prefer white cars. My senior said using white boxers and singlets would force me to be wearing them once before washing them and that way, I would be maintaining good hygiene. This has been working for me since my secondary school days. This is one major good thing I learnt from my senior, Nonso. He also taught me how to ration money, provisions(milk, ovaltine, golden morn, sugar, cabin biscuit etc cheesy) and other things. He hailed from Anambra, I guess managing resources is in their blood. Okay that's my own lessons, so who will go next?

I did not learn anything from my seniors , but i did learn how to fold my clothes properly and make my bed before going out, i still do it. And the funny thing i still do is to make sure there's water in my house in case of scarcity. The boarding school i attended then always had an issue with water, so this made me hoard water in case of scarcity, and this character followed me to the university. I always make sure there's water in my house in case of water scarcity. Infact everybody knew me in school then grin grin grin , i rarely run out of water grin grin grin . if i dont have water, just know sey "e don pass be careful" grin grin.
I also learned how to clear grass , scrub and mob properly cry cry cry ( i missed a lot of breakfast in school because of this angry angry )
Thinking about it, i did learn a lot of things in boarding school, especially personal hygiene as a young girl then.
