What is the probability of a school getting accreditation? During it's first 5 years?

Does Radiography and MLS need MDCN full accreditation before they can graduate and go for internship?

Hello bro.
A new medical school first gets partial accreditation once MDCN and NUC have done their inspection and certify them worthy of training doctors. Then they get full accreditation when they graduate the first set of medics.
As for MLS, it has its own council MLSCN(Medical laboratory scientists council of Nigeria). MDCN only regulate medicine and dentistry.

Good morning all. The worst is about to happen. My people are hell bent, they wanted me to change course either to radiography or physiology and enter school (but will attempt jamb again while in school) still i am finding it complex to do that because i never had interest in those courses. The only option left for me is to prepare for the next year jamb or heed their advice.

ALL OPINIONS IS APPRECIATED.
PLS SOMEONE SHOULD HELP A DEPRESSED BROTHER

Hmm bro I will advice you just prepare for another Jamb if medicine is what you really want, if you go to school now, hmm reading again for another Jamb plus school wahala may affect your health, I'm speaking from experience, I suffered mental decline when I did that and just wished I never accepted the admission when I was given at the first place. So to me you can just use this year at home and do what you didn't do last time to excel more in jamb, tho radiography is a good course, but since you said you don't have interest in it, then go for medicine.

I'd advise you start a course while prepping for another jamb next year. It's not easy but It's only year 1 you can handle it. Hope things turn out fine, but bruv honestly anything can happen ( just keep that in mind). Who knows you might get enuf motivation in sch seeing med students undecided
Starting a course now has it's perks for when you finally get med.

Hello everyone how can I prepare for the jamb exam effectively. Should I make use of their syllabus? Or past questions? I have limited time to read which is around 3hrs. I believe that should suffice for one topic every day. My target score is 370. school UNN. I need advice from the great men here.
Syllabus ke undecided

Just Get sharp text books (very necessary)
Study/ brainstorming partners.. you'd be amazed the extent to which online brainstorming via WhatsApp, telegram and Nairaland would push you, keep you abreast and on your toes. But if you're flying solo, just get good texts (ask around from high scorers), IMHO, nothing like syllabus
You Go Jack 24/7 even in your dreams
Read read read and read
If you've got only 3hrs tops...make it count

All the best

Imo state university is not accredited for medicine but is on your list of accredited schools. Don't you think that website is fake? Or outdated? For the record, I am from imo state.

IMSU is fully accredited for Medicine.
They graduated some set of medical students (first set I presume) last month after many years

Appreciated boss. Do you think i can combine semester courses and preparing for jamb? Won`t i be wornout with school stress and the rest

Why not?
It is possible to combine school workloads and JAMB preparation together. I did it and it worked for me.
It only boils down to how serious you are with it. If you know you have a goal you are pursuing, nothing should deter you from it.

But they can't admit fresh students since 2018 till now? Cause they graduated some sets of medical students doesn't mean they have reached full accreditation status.
