Refund that could be done in 2min is now taken 24hrs and he has not send it. Those periods he told you he went to work, yes he went to work with your money at the bet9ja virtual

He said he is depressed, surely he will be depressed after losing half if not all the 83k to bet9ja

He claimed they block is bank account or whatever. The bank will never block your account, what they will do is to put the said amount in ledger balance, they are not authorized to send the money back to the sender, unless the scammer gave his consent.

Only the op could make complaint to his bank regarding the transaction(and they won't even restrict his account), and since the op have not done such, the guy is lying about is restricted bank account.

Op his account wasn't restricted, there are procedures that must be taken before an account gets blacklisted. Besides you must provide evidence of fraud.

If he's claiming that someone here reported his account, he's nothing but a chronic liar. I told you yesterday that his deactivated account speaks volumes.

Go to the bank and make an official report...today is Friday and Monday is public holiday, stop wasting your time chatting with him. He has withdrawn and spent that money.

i was angry to a point that i ended taking this personal. but you have not been replying me since yesterday.

i believe you went to the bank and report the transaction already.

i was able to reach him but that guy is a scammer, all he was did not make sense initially untill i started reporting him to his family and close friends who promise to see that he pay you the money. what i'm seeing now is that, he actually touch the money so chat him again and instruct him to screenshot his account balance and show you, if the amount is not up to what you send him, tell him to give you what he have first. then we can take it up from there.

The guy has been very careless to leave traces everywhere online(even me that is not a scammer can not be found that fast) he will find it difficult to even borrow from his f&f again talkless of people online.

I got a message from this user, he told me he got my number from nairaland that I use to help people that I should support him with the little I have I told him alright I will get back to him as I am working on my bank issues

so, this morning i decided to help him with small change and I sent him 3k this morning and not knowing i also sent him another 83k ment for one of my customer to my surprise I called him and explained everything to him that he should refund the money I mistakenly sent to him ..he picked and switched off his phone ........so is now a crime to help somebody in this country again this is bad..

Also know that when unexpected funds enters your account even if you're busy, you will be curious to know what is it for. Seeing the source is from a previous sender and calls/messages was sent, yet the receiver hasn't refunded for up to 24 hours should give you an insight.

1. Move the money elsewhere (not hard).

2. Knowing well that it's close to weekend and delay tactics could be used.

3. Deactivating or limiting bank account themselves, you can do this under false claims that your phone is stolen or something.

Banks will not just close your accounts like that from "random internet strangers" filing a claim. As greedy as some banks are, they wouldn't violate their terms and privacy policy.

As an Access bank user myself, Access bank can be frustrating and it's best it's coming from Access to Access.

Remember settling friends and family with cash or cooking up stories to them. He could simply tell them that Scammers will call you that I took money, avoid them it's a new format or even say, if you see any messages concerning me that I took money, don't fall for it. Why I'm so concerned is that I myself have benefitted from his giveaway.
He once sent me 3k at a time I was so broke and still had many days ahead before salary would be paid.
