Tinubu!
I have nothing personal against him. I acknowledge he knows how to play politics.
I admit he is a maverick.
Machiavelli must have thought about people like Tinubu before he wrote "The Prince".
Tinubu has been in the forefront of political affairs in Nigeria.
In the heydays of Sani Abacha, Jagaban played a pivotal role.
NADECO will always remember the impact of Tinubu.
After the fall of the tyrant of Abuja, Tinubu became the governor of Lagos in 1999. He refused to cower to the powers that be.
He fought OBJ alone. He has guts. He refused to join the bandwagon when defection and one party system was in vogue.
He stuck with AD.
From Lagos State, he expanded the influence of his party to other South West States.
By 2015, all the South West States were in his grips.
That didn't happen by accident. It was the fruit of hard work, perseverance, and steadfastness.
It is idle, it is disingenuous to dismiss the role of Tinubu in the emergence of buhari.
He played a pivotal role and deserves all the accolades.
After a long work, he has resolved to actualize his lifelong ambition.
The president of Nigeria. It is a noble goal.
But I have my doubts of his capability.
During the last concluded primary, Tinubu was the first aspirant to speak.
When he was called to address the delegates, he stood up, walked staggeringly, almost fell but was assisted by an officer.
His speech was uninspiring. He read a prepared speech in Buhari fashion.
At a point he went blank. His body was shaking, his hands were trembling.
It took him more than 12 seconds to flip open a page of his speech.
I was beside myself with disbelief.
"Is this the man that wants to rule Nigeria?" I asked myself.
I shook my head in bewilderment.
The contagion of withdrawal set in. It was then I knew he would win.
At length he won.
He was called upon to deliver his acceptance speech. His speech was full of sarcasms and wits.
Buhari congratulated him and handed over the APC flag to him.
His hands were trembling. He couldn't even hold a flag firmly. Buhari had to assist him.
I felt pity for the man.
He is under the vale of years and infirmities.
He is frail, infirm, enfeebled, ill, sickly, and decrepit.
He needs rest not stress.
But he has allowed the unbridled quest for power to becloud his judgement.
He prefers his ambition to his life, his vanity to his common sense.
It is left for Nigerians to decide.
I have nothing against Tinubu.
But as Osibanjo rightly said, you can't wish Nigeria well and vote for someone you don't believe in his capability.
Let's us think about it.
Vote wisely.

the youths are coming

they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual tribalism.

But we'll remind them that tribalism won't bring back dollars to at least 400
tribalism won't bring back fuel to 95 naira
tribalism won't send our undergraduates back to school.

2023 will be the youths vs the criminals

Peter Obi is only popular on Twitter.

If you know the population of people that seat for meetings weekly in Apc and Pdp in all LGAs. Only these people's votes will defeat any vote Peter Obi will get from his constituency Twitter.

Interesting times to be alive. cool
Now, the people have begun to realise that the fight shouldn't be against ethnicity or religious beliefs, but rather a union effort to fight against what I term as "a psychological inclination to corruption and the jingoist nature of the people into defending this unjust cause.

Deep-rooted in every ration being is the ability to discern what is good from what is bad, but the problem we faced daily and that we also have to fight, is the societal construct of blindly following rules. Exactly, and it is that I'll narrative that we much change. Most people blindly follow rules or sovereign decisions because they have been conditioned so by religious and authoritative bodies who they look up for redemption.

The truth be told, deep down we all know what is best for us but because we are clouded by religious and ethnic sentiment, we jeopardize our future in the name of supporting our own. Competency doesn't mean that "our own" can't produce such, but that can only be on a convincing level after due scrutiny has been done on the principal antecedents, achievements and character. With that, it is left to navigate such a person to the future and assume a ground of success he will bring if elected.

God will help us all.

First time this idiot has made sense...

Peter Obi's emergence is a huge breath of fresh air. An option most young people with brains can finally relate with....

Osibanjo would have been another of that pattern of a progressive society.

I have never seen Nigerian youths this galvanized, invigorated, and encouraged to go out for something... At least not since Endsars!

If only the less progressive ones in the North will follow suit, there just might yet be hope for this British contraption!

Next year election will be quite interesting!

Peter Obi already explained the Pandora issue. A simple Google check can sort that out for you. The money in question was already there before he became Governor. He did nothing wrong.
