Honestly speaking, with the history of O'level exam malpractices, how would any sane person award such huge marks for O'level alone while the degree which actually determines what career you're going into will carry a meagre 8 marks!! Seriously, if that's what they actually use, then the grading system is total shit!

Nice another in-house person spilled the truth.
That is why I advise applicants to calculate their marks and see what they can get instead of arguing about the scoring criteria.

There are other scholarships other than PTDF. AGIP oversea scholarship tests exam is on. USA and Canada schools give scholarships. Google is your friend.

I only used my Waec results for the application. However during interview, the interviewers asked me to give them both my Waec and Neco, but I told them I didn't use my Neco for the application. They insisted that if I have my Neco I should still give them so they may pick the best results from the two.

I am tempted to ask this; if the software had graded the Waec results and the panel is only verifying, why did they ask of my Neco to pick the best scores from both Waec and Neco results knowing well that I didn't use the Neco results for the application (and was not graded by the software)?

The examiner want to help you to pick your highest score from WAEC and NECO.

In the case an applicant rewrite his/her O-level after graduation, what is the possibility of acknowledging it for the scholarship.

Although, currently there is no explicit rule on this. Nevertheless, would it actually be worthwhile to do so? Can you predict if you will score straight A1s? Can you predict if the test center will have its result released or cancelled? Bro, there are many unpredictable variables involved. Unless you currently have straight C6s or lesser in your Olevel, you still have chances just like every other candidates. Your good SOP, first degree, certifications etc might beat others with good Olevels. Just leave everything to GOD.

We are Not upto 107 according to my maths. There are 61 of us vying for 5 avalaible positions for MSc GFM. Each of us have about an 8% chance of been selected.

No one knows for this year.. Just like what the director said.
Last year, twas 6 for MSc. 3 candidates for UK and 1 candidate for each of the GFM countries.


2 candidates for PhD.

8 candidates in total.. Note that the highest scoring females are included. That is, a spot is guaranteed for a female candidate in all the categories.

The WAEC / O-Level and BSc /MSc grading is still the same as that of last year

I was asked..i answered that i wanted full ..Though i cant figure out what that means, but the koko is for the will of God to be done.

They might have used CGPA or o' level to shortlist for interviews.

Let forget how interview shortlist was not and move to after-interview results.

Who was asked whether u wanted partial or full scholarship? What did u tell them.

I just checked my portal now and I noticed ptdf have taken down my interview details when interview is not even over yet . Is it the way it is for everyone or I'm I the only one? This looks really somehow though...

Over the years, I have read that portal changing determines if one will be successful or not. Dont know how true it is

I still have access to mine though the interview date isn't there again
