May be is you that lacked idea on the selection process for PTDF scholarship sir. I could remember PTDF briefed us on their selection process during our induction last three years. Those variables that are being discussed here are the factors one needs to worry about, because if you can cross them you don't have problem, God willing. The other factors are not somethings of worry.
And even the invitation mails that were sent to the applicants stated it clearly that selection is based purely on one performance in interview. Why wouldn't people worry about their interview performance? All other things are just formalities if you get your interview very well.

It is at your own prerogative to apply to more than two (if possible) in the same year, but you must only choose one if selected for all. Afterwards, you can't apply for the same category of scholarship again.

Stakeholder lists is different from Merit list.

Stakeholder lists are NYSC Awardees, oil companies workers and politicians. Undergraduate foreign scholarship are for stakeholders

Merit list: are those who did the actual scholarship. This is genuine and no man know man.

Man know man is only for stakeholder lists.

I kid you not o. In fact, I was very surprised that I was shortlisted for this year's interview because I didn't apply. I started my application though, but I neglected it because the manuscript I was fighting for to be published couldn't be published before the application deadline. So I decided not to submit my application. I was thinking that what is the essence of submitting the same thing that I've been doing over the years without winning. The funniest thing is, my interviewer didn't even ask for any publication from me and when I asked him about publication, he said publication is no more relevant. I was very surprised.

And again, I noticed that anytime I pick an MSc course that is different from what I studied during my BSc, I won't be shortlisted for interview either for GFM/C or UK. Ptdf get mystery o. They know what they want. We only pray for favor and hope for the best.

Yeah , u are correct. Like me also I didn't submit final application because I prosponed to upload a document . That was reason we were told to update if u are shortlisted.

But was shortlisted for last day of May. Later my interview was brought forward to first day on virtual session

1. The chosen course of study matters a lot, I think PTDF has priority courses to sponsor.
Remember you must be recommended a the interview before score ranking .

There is no way u wouldn't see like 10 to 20 recommended in a state. And those are the ones to be ranked .

This is apart from people with long legs. But God is there for us.

Even it's virtual session you are doing, you will be interviewed why you should be given the scholarship and how relevant your chosen course of study to PTDF focus.
