Why Is Water not given to accident Victims, even when they feel thirsty at that particular period of time ? I really wanted to learn.

They could choke.The injuries may make their swallowing impaired and they could take in fluids into their lungs.
Also,the injuries may require surgery and it is always good to have an empty stomach for a surgery.

Giving them water will cool that remaining blood in them and the person may die.

Anyone experiencing accident needs to be stable before taking anything.....
Unstable form can lead to sudden death....
