I wonder were some women got their husbands from. I went to a party the other day to back up for someone, a guy was just embarrassing this lady. Women should test the anger-level of their spouse before saying Yes I do.

Depends on the culture. What you described is Western culture. In some cultures women are brought up to expect a beating if they did something very wrong

A woman should not lift her hand against a man if she cannot take a retaliation. A woman should not provoke her husband until he morphs into the very beast that beats the shit out of her. A woman should not marry a readymade beast and hope to convert him into a sane man.
