This can only happen if you are overtrading while using big lot size at the same time.

As a rule of thumb, don't allow your margin percentage to be below 500. The higher it is the better.

Forex is a marathon not a sprint race. Stay long enough in the market and you will easily recover your losses and make enough profits while at it.

Don't buy sell. Let your stoploss be your friend. Don't allow it to be too tight and don't adjust it once set. Good luck.

There are always days of long winning streaks. Keep doing the right thing and gain more pips that will keep you through the long lossing streak.
I have been demo trading XAU since April and I hardly lost . Each winning trade returns 1:4:5
So in all this, don't feel like you're now a King cos that will be beginning of your margin call once you go live

Just try and book profits of 30-50 pips along the way. GBPUSD and us 30, crypto - everything is expected to crash. That being said, we will only make money by taking it one zone at a time, expect a lot of pullbacks that can shake up your position. Better to wait for monday or TUESDAY to catch any potential swing move.

I think any sell seen in gold would be a correction, yesterday candle bounced off a demand zone which tells me that buyers maybe stepping in. Will see how the monday candle closes though or the price action next week since we have the important FOMC.

Go live. I had demo trade winning 18 and losing two in 2018 - i entered live and lost the acct in one week. Demo can encourage you not to use risk mgmt. I was risking 8 percent with no stop loss back then. Another thing is that you might be trading a trending market in demo and by the time you go live, the market is in a range. Na then, you go see shege pro max if you don't understand what's going on.
Go live with a small amount (try with like 10 -50 dollars on a cent acct). If you can be profitable for 1 month, increase the amount and continue.

As of today, there is a 96% chance that the Fed will hike this week but what is more important is what powell will say at the conference. The way i understand it, the Fed is in trouble trying to stabilize the economy and control inflation. At this point If they continue to hike or hike aggressively, there will be a crash. If they dont hike, inflation will continue to run wild. In any case, it is good for gold because there is a consensus that the Fed and Janet Yellen caused this and now they dont know what they are doing. They acted too late and should have started hiking since last year. The Russia-Ukraine war and oil prices have added serious damages after barely recovering from covid. The funny thing about all of this is that in the eventuality that a crash comes, the Fed would have to cut rates to help but rates has to be at a certain level for them to cut. The only way rates can reach that level is to hike it so Federal just dey one chance.
