Lies. It doesn't store.

It stores basic information you provided. They would need the permissions to access phone when a customer defaults... If you're quick, do this and be free. They will only be able to call quarantors.

All these agents. cheesy

Dear sir,
I posted this so don't fall victim.
There was one I used (forgotten the name). I applied and after loan was disbursed I deleted the app.
On the day of loan expiry my contacts received messages.

I think Branch is the best among these loan apps.

Their interest rate is a bit lower with a long repayment date and I haven't defaulted so far, unlike LCredit or other demonic loan apps that charges almost 50% for a small loan.

Normally I don't collect more than 10k because I use these money for urgent and pressing needs so they expect me to pay 15k for a 10k loan in ten days or two weeks time.

Branch is the best if you ask me, I even locked some funds there on their 20% per annum savings.

Others are Fairmoney and Carbon but I only use Branch, I am not a serial borrower.

First Bank isn't excluded, they are theives too, imagine posting 10% loan rate online then I was being told 30% at the Bank, they wanted to give me 700k to repay 910k in 36 months, although the duration is long but it's a rip off, I will prefer a 10% rate with a one year duration, I can't bear the pain of paying debt every month for 3 years.

The truth is that your contacts “safely stored in your mobile phone” which you used in downloading the loan app and securing the lending from the app platform, is actually “your collateral and guarantee for loan repayment.” If you want to apply for a loan and you do not have any contact in your phone, I can assure you that no lending app in Nigeria will approve your request.

You cannot stop loan apps from accessing your phone contacts, after you have borrowed money from them. Your phone contacts will immediately be downloaded safely on the loan app’s external database against your name, BVN and other profile details and even though you later delete or uninstall the loan app, it makes no difference. You stand in their mercy.

If you are a software developer, you will understand how android apps permission works. Also, most of us don't read privacy policy & Terms of use before installing apps.

If you are a defaulter just know that, they have MULTIPLE ways of getting their money back. Calling/SMSing your guarantors & contacts is the least they can do.
They can write to your bank to blacklist your BVN. They can also auto-debit or even request freeze on your accounts.
I'm sorry, the world has no pity for debtors.
This is pure lie bro.
Rest. The highest these small Loan apps do is to keep calling or smsing your guarantors and contacts..... Even Loan companies that have physical branch, you have no idea how frustrating it is for them to get back there loans. Ask Renmoney.... "blacklisting BVN" you think CBN respect these loan companies !!!! people wey still release letter few months ago warning the loan companies to stop denting there clients image

That guy legit thinks he could fool anyone here. Like, he has seen market women/men to mess around with. Back to back been saying real shit! That company's name is "Lcredit" is Lcredit a legal entity in Nigeria? Noooo. I told him to mention the name of his boss and he's been mute. He doesn't know whom he works for. Ghost company, ghost owners.

Funny chap... But I told you to search for Cashigo International Limited didn't I? You'd see all you are asking for... 5 mins on the internet can educate you a lot but the debts r blinding you...

You say that branch is one of the registered loan apps but yet you still owe dem. So it's not more a case of legal or illegal. It's a case of say you no get money. Lol. If you didn't have a means of paying the loan, why take it in the first place? You don take am, spend the money finish. Now to pay back you dey call dem illegal. But when you use your hand download the app they were not illegal, when you applied for the loan, they were not illegal, when they told you the loan condition was you take ABC to pay back XYZ in 7 days, the app was not illegal, when they credited your bank account the app was not illegal. But now it's time to pay back, the app suddenly is illegal. Lol. What I see is a guy that's broke and thinks he can get free money. After getting the money n it was time to pay back, he takes loans from other apps to pay back thereby digging a bigger hole than the previous one he dug for himself... Keep robbing peter to pay Paul. That's your problem. But you see those debts that you owe, they'd still haunt you... If you didn't care about the debts, you won't go the length you did to avoid the calls and texts to your phone... But by all means, pay Branch you claim are the only ones you can pay... I'm certain in a few weeks or months, you will still come back here to claim branch is also illegal cos you simply can't pay them.

N.B... Next time you want to take a loan, have an investment plan. Also have a Plan A, B and C to pay back the loan. Taking a loan to is not to eat the money cos you r going to pay back with interest. If the loan you take can't generate the interest to pay the loan, my advice, don't take the loan...

First step in knowing that the app is operating illegally,... The repayment period is 7days to 14days. Any app that collects repayment in 7-14 days is unregistered.

Secondly, once they involve ppl's contacts.... It's unregistered.

Rest! You're making a fool of yourself here. cheesy

You're the one who is making a fool of yourself by showing how dishonest you are on a public forum.

When you were taking the loan you did not know they were dishonest, now it's time to pay back you've suddenly realised they are dishonest.

I wish you would go to a South American country and default on a loan let them use baseball bats to break your knee caps na dat time you go know say Nigerian loan companies still dey learn work as far as hash recovery tactics are concerned!

Assuming I didn't study Accounting, so in your professional opinion, when a company is operating without a known address, what does that make it? Now, who are your CEO? Executives? Managers? cheesy cheesy I need names if you're not affraid. Stop fooling yourself here. Go on Twitter and read the investigation carried out by David Hundeyin. Again, stop fooling yourself. grin Notice how this agent didn't answer these questions. cheesy Their bosses, they don't know there names. Those ones hide them hire a front who hires them into WhatsApp groups as admin and send task. They don't know who their bosses are 'cause in a LEGAL setting, you would know whom you're working for.

The Chinese guys use them as the slaves they are. cheesy

I was curious and so I looked at your profile. You just created a new moniker to hide behind and spew your nonsense. If you r not scared, why not rant from your official naira land moniker? Why hide and speak? Just shows you speak out of fear my friend.

Pay your debts n have peace of mind. That's all I can say to you

This company is registered. Pay them what you owe them, but collect from the illegal ones like Lcredit and do as I said.

None of them has been able to reach me. My phone can finally breath and none of my contacts has been reached by all 5 Apps, meaning that this method worked.

Collect fast! They can't do anything. They should go and register.

I don't work for LCredit I'm sorry... But since you are sure of your trick and are so pained that they disturbed you, download the app, borrow some more money and then deny access to contacts, pictures etc you spoke about... That way, you would truly be punishing them. But you are scared of them aren't you? And since you can't face the person sending you messages, you come to social media to hide and rant... Casino International limited is not registered as a money lender with CBN, registration with CAC does not make you a legal money lender in Nigeria.

Cashigo is just a ghost company, no official address, who are the management of the company? You can't even track them if there is an issue
