Farouq Kperogi is a bonafide PDP member that is why he could go any length to defame APC members and other reputable politicians to pave way for his Atiku. If Farouq is truly sincere about his writings, Atiku deserve more bashing from him than others but the fact that he worked with Obasanjo in a team saddle with the responsibilities of media and press made him very sentimental.
Southerners are left with difficult choice between two Muslims Presidential aspirants, one from their region and the other is from the tribe most of them so much despise and a Muslim Northerner.
You guys need to know that religion favours only elites in Nigeria but not masses in steering the affairs of this Nation. Buhari is a Muslim Northerner who under his watch banditry cost about half of lives that Boko Haram killed. The number of Muslims killed in Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Niger and Kaduna State is very terrible and extremely alarming and he has done nothing as a Muslim.

Osinbajo is a Christian but only condemn killing of Christians not from the deep side of his heart but because he wants to remain relevant in the eyes of Nigerian Christians, his being VP couldn't save lives of Christians killed across the Nation. VP can't play any role to change President's decisions or inactions, and in Nigeria the VP will prefer to be part of the sharing team than depend the atrocities committed on members of his faith!

Therefore, it is left for Nigerians especially the Southerners among Atiku and Tinubu to choose someone who can protect not only Christians but Nigerians and Nigeria.
This religious game won't solve our problems but keep pushing us into state of confusion!

Muslim Muslim ticket is blasphemy

Buhari, as muslim as he is could not clear the north in the last elections because of the woeful performance, the masses have moved beyond religious sentiments, they know and want to see equity. An APC muslim-muslim ticket would suerly split the northern votes between APC and PDP, but its surely would deliver Christian votes across the country to opponents of APC. And if a Atiku lands a last minute agreement with the labour party, then surely APC wont be winning. GEJ won some strategic votes from the northern regardless of him been a Christian. APC does not need a muslim - muslim ticket to win the next presidential elections. If none of those Northern VPs can stand alone to contest head on with Atiku and win a presidential race, then Tinubu doesnt need them either.

If APC presents a Muslim-Muslim Ticket, vote a Party with other configuration to talk sense into them. It is that simple. I am apolitical. Just so you know.

You have absolutely no clue what wielding power can do and how much gain you can make using power to your advantage. The gains Buhari have gotten for Fulani interest and expansionism is about 50years. In our institutions, displacement of natives and land acquisition, international diplomacy to mention a few.

Very true.

A muslim/Muslim ticket will never fly. Why did the north hate Christians so much and whenever a Christian becomes the president they hardly respect him and wish him dead.

Do you know that the main reason why they are pushing for muslim/muslim ticket is because they hate Northern Christian and they don't see Tinubu as a real Muslim,this is a fact.

Assuming we are left with the option of a christian/christian ticket in the next election, the north will rather prefer we divide this country than to vote for a Christian.

Also, if they truly believe that religion shouldn't be an issue here, let them allow Tinubu to pick a northern Christian as running mate and let's see if they will vote for him.
