For those of us that like plots and twists even when there is none, I think Pacero's "boys" are beginning to emerge;
1) Simon
2) Osimehn (for obvious reasons)
3) Iwobi
4) Semi
5) Bassey

Just my observations. I "think" he has a preference for the younger guys as well, that might explain Balo, Omeruo and Dessers bench roles.

Who noticed the bad back pass from Bassey, Uzoho saved the day there. Also there was one delicious long range pass from Dennis to Sadiq which Sadiq was unable to convert, though not a bad goal attempt from Sadiq.

IMO, people who are still bitter about us not qualifying for the world cup definitely staked a lot either financially or emotionally in that Ghana game, cus I don't see why it's so hard for them to move on..

Notwithstanding the quality of the opponent today, I saw a lot of improvement in the team.. Our overall performance was better today..

And I have to admit that the pitch played a big factor in this... How difficult can it be to build and maintain just one world class football pitch for the national team? It is 2022 FFS!

I don’t understand why they haven’t move on

I will even support Ghana at the World Cup self

Iwobi is a joy to watch. Etebo still needs to add quick decision making and pass to his game. He delays transition. Sha adding alhassan and with ndidi coming back omo this team will be fire
If Ndidi just come back lasan, Iwobi will play further up field and that's going to be a much bigger attack.

Musa kept it very simple and effective, no showboating at all!!! Is it also possible his fresh legs made it easier for him compared to Luku and Simon?

I like what Musa did today. As said above, no showboating. He's barely that kind of player. Direct and fast. Chuks and Simon should learn from that.

Those of you that is not happy with continues invitation of Ahmad Musa should brace up. The governor is as important as a player like ndidi or oshimen, if not more. This man is doing very well in keeping these players together, the harmony between the players and the federation is handy work of Musa. The federation like his personality and the players love him. To keep Musa happy around the group, his best friend also getting opportunities.

And Dennis too. Dennis has huge potentials tbh if he jams a correct no nonsense coach, I think Dennis will even become more menacing!!! He's two footed, he's fast, his workrate is good, he has a spring in his jump etc.

Musa came in when Sao Tome has already conceded basket of goals and they started coming out more which give Musa a lot of spaces to create chances
