Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky issued an ultimatum to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz - he demanded that Berlin break off all relations with Moscow . "Scholz and his government must make a decision: there should be no attempt to maintain a balance in relations between Ukraine and Russia." The German government, according to Zelensky, is guilty of starting to help Ukraine later than the United States, Britain, Poland and the Baltic states. On the eve of Scholz's visit to Kyiv, Zelensky said that the German chancellor should not "limit himself to photographs", but should participate in discussions about Ukraine's status in the European Union, as well as strengthening military support. |
