justwise:Well yes, commission free at Morrisons, its safer than risking buying fake Pounds by the road side. You are more prone to buying fake $ than fake £. well that's my opinion from personal experience. you want to know that worse part? is buying Old pound note we no longer use. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by justwise(m): 9:24am On Jun 14, 2022 |
erico2k2: All the same, the same people that will sell fake £ will have fake $ as well. There is no point converting naira to dollar in Nigeria then convert it again from $ to £ when you get to the UK. 1 Like |

justwise:erm how are they meant to know the Old pound notes? etc$ area easier to get than £ cos BTC in Nigeria convert their £ to $ at the 1st opportunity. You also forget the point I made that you can convert it back to ££ once in the Uk at no commission and might even had gained against the £ at that point. |

erico2k2: All this ‘no Commision’ talk is not as nice as it seem (from my vast personal experience). What’s the point of claiming ‘no Commision’ while giving shit, very shit rates? In any case, I think it doesn’t make sense to have naira physically, then change it to dollars. Then further change the dollars to pounds. If my fear is fake £ (or old £), I will do barter. Deposit the naira into someone’s acct and get em to transfer genuine £ to mine. |

BorisJohnson:What do you mean by shit rates? have you actually gone there? Rates are displayed on there and its up to you if you go in to change, their rates are market value in real time, Now how did they Morrisons mange to give you a rate you considered shit when it was displayed in front of you B4 you went in and you still went in even after you determined the rate was shit? You sim to 4get morrisons like Tesco and post offices own their own bank and match the rates of bank of England just like your own personal bank will |

Osoderi: 4) You can apply for a British Airways AMEX Credit card, It's pretty straight forward and their approval rate is very high at the moment. You can use my link http://amex.co.uk/refer/nnAnnW9hPF?XL=MNMNS when applying and we both get bonus avios points. 5) You use https://www.experian.co.uk/ or https://www.equifax.co.uk/ to check for free for a period, but you may have to pay if you want to have continued access. 1 Like |

Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by kode12: 12:17pm On Jun 14, 2022 |
jadepinkett: If you have Tier 2 sponsorship, you can only do 20hrs for another employer in the same occupation code or in another shortage occupation. You're not allowed to just take up a second random job, unfortunately. If you're going to do more than 20hrs you're going to need sponsorship from the second employer 4 Likes 1 Share |
