I remember when this man was walking on the streets of some communities in the South East and shooting any young man at sight all in the name of UGM.

He was even taking selfies during the exercise and feeling like a Demi-god.

Now how far??

Just six years
it is far less than six years, the defendants are smart to pled not guilty ,look and act remorseful and take the plea bargain deal, their sentence will run concurrent which means three years and the judge further helped them by adding the time they have stayed in detention which was from January last year,so one year and six month already minus, they will stay for like another one year and be freed, but that one year will be the toughest one year in their lifes

Igbo judge sentences two igbo drug traffickers to jail.

This "get rich quick" syndrome of the South East is a monumental menace that calls for nationwide concern. It's becoming increasingly impossible to hear or read about drug related offences without the mention of Igbos in the mix.

It is from the same East that the concept of money rituals first gained prominence to the point it was always portrayed bare-faced in Nigerian movies from our early years. But if you seek to talk about it, some elements will rise up in defiance and label you a tribalist.

Go to FUTO and IMSU, both in Imo State and you'll find roughly 90% of the young population from age 15 upwards being proudly involved in one drug syndicate, internet fraud cartels or the other. It's starting to look like most Igbo homes have relegated societal morals to the background, thereby giving rise to the dearth in proper upbringing for this generation.

Something has to be done...and speedily too!

If you like attack me and ignore the message, na una still dey suffer the stain on your collective reputation.

I don't understand because the normal procedure in military which i believe is also applicable to Police and other para-military agencies is that the accused person will first face orderly room trial or panel and if found guilty will be dismissed and handed over for prosecution.

In the case of Abakyari nothing like such took place except written suspension from Police high command instead of PSC.
Does it mean they can come come back to the police after less than 3 years in prison?
Unlike military. Police and other paramilitary agencies are classed as civilians.

And what of abba kyri

Read before rushing to type

Six years... total ... three charges... two years each.... running concurrently.... meaning only two years in prison.... beginning from the day they were locked up. That was more than a year ago?... then they have only a few months left to be free. Their sentence is light because they agreed to testify against Kyari. The judge warned of the need to protect their safety.... that will be a problem. I'm almost sure we'll hear they committed suicide.... or died in an accident.

Just six years
2 years to run concurrently on the 3 charges, not 6 years, probably spend another 1 year incarcerated, since they have been in custody since March & the remainder on probation.

By this time next year, they should be free men back to the trade they know best.

He is a northerner. He is above the law. Magu was on suspension, he was still receiving salary. In suspension he got promoted ,and finally retired. So,what are we not saying. This super cop will retire just like magu. They will even promote him before he retires..
