Reasons Why Tinubu The Greedy 'landlord' Is Desperate To Hold On To Power by okrote4real: 7:37am On Apr 29
AMBODE THEN AS THE EMBATTLED GOVERNOR SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS WITH PROOFS TO BUHARI OF THE ATROCITIES OF BAT IN LAGOS STATE AND REASON WHY BUHARI VOWED NEVER TO ALLOW BAT SUCCEED HIM.

Reasons why Tinubu the greedy 'landlord' is desperate to hold on to power — Gov Ambode

1. The 1,000 hectares of land valued at about N175Billion located at Lakowe near Abijo at Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and given to Lekki concession company [LCC] which is owned by Tinubu and being developed as a golf course and housing estate by Assets and Resource Management Ltd [ARM]

2. The prime land of 157 hectares with 2.5km of Atlantic beach-front valued at about N100Billion.

3. The 14 hectares Parkview Ikoyi Estate foreshore land reclaimed by Lagos State Government is also owned by Ahmed Bola Tinubu and its valued at about N13Billion.

4. The Annex of the Lagos State Guest House in Asokoro, Abuja bought by the State Govt in 2006 for N450Million to protect the main house from a security breach. Shortly after he left office, the property was transferred to him under the Lagos State pension plan.

5. No.4, Oyinkan Abayomi [formerly Queens Drive], Ikoyi; A luxury 5- bedroom detached house on one acre of land which was originally the Lagos State Governor's Guest House since 1979 was acquired by Ahmed Bola Tinubu. The property valued at about N950M was released to him by Fashola in 2007

6. Tinubu's residence at No.26, Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi is said to worth over N5.5Billion which is also part of his net worth.

7. The 250-hectares of land valued at about N165Billion & strategically located at the Ajah junction on Lekki Road which was initially meant for a General Hospital for the people of Eti-Osa is now his property. The property has been developed as a Royal Garden Housing Estate fully owned by Tinubu.

8. He also acquired for himself sophisticated private jet worth over $60Million.
Tinubu also owns some first-class luxury cars, one of them is G-Wagon said to worth N600 Million and built with bulletproof and bomb detector apparatus as well as surveillance cameras.

9. The choice property at Lekki- Epe road on which he built the multi-billion naira Oriental Hotel and the extension of a multi-storey car park beside it is said to worth N220Billion together with the hotel.

10. A Multi-level recreation centre by Mobil in Oniru Estate on Lekki-Epe Expressway jointly owned with ARM and Tunji Olowofe is said to worth about N55Billion.

11. Another 3.8 hectare of land at the Lagos State Fisheries Office in Victoria Island valued at over N3Billion is also his property.

12. The Fishery Landing jetty at Badore [where the Ilubinrin fishermen were to be relocated] valued at about N800Million is another choice property of Mr Tinubu.

13. The entire Ogudu foreshore scheme valued at about N6Billion. Adding to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Net Worth.

14. The Ilubinrin housing estate [which used to house Lagos State civil servants and judges up till 2007. This housing estate is worth about N3.5Billion has been since acquired by Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

15. The former Julius Berger yard at Oko Orisan, Epe valued at about N650Million.

16. Tinubu's wife, Remi Tinubu, built the massive multi-billion naira New Era Foundation youth camp at the junction of Eleko, off the Lekki-Epe express road which is also part of Tinubu's wealth.

All those praising and campaigning for Tinubu is simply for the cash benefit they are looking for as it is a known fact that BAT is one of the richest in Africa if not in the world going by his shares with the world greatest telecom giant ‘apple’.

I saw someone (@Mario9jaa) on Twitter give snippet of why Bola Tinubu should be elected president and I want Nairalanders to see this too.

This is why we are supporting Tinubu.

1. Power: Tinubu’s government, in 2000, contracted AES to build an IPP that will generate 270MW of electricity to Lagos residents in order to exit the irrational power supply being provided by the FG. The 270MW is now part of our national grid. It is the first of it’s Kind. Tinubu electrification project covered over 100 communities. In his first term, 53 rural communities were targeted. The projects were completed in Egan, Atewolere, Ifesowapo, Aboru, Agbado Ayetoro, Akorede, Isheri Ikosi, Orile Aguntan, Rofo, Borokini, Omologbede, Araromi, Oke Agbo, Erekusu, Logberu, Okegelu and Ebute, Lekki. Others were Origanringan, Onigbolakowe, Oke odo Elemoro, Ipaja Isale odo, Agenuba, Ajelogo, Mutaku, Egansando, Ayanfe, topo and Ikola Agbenaje.

2. Decentralization: In order to bring governance closer to the people of Lagos state, Asiwaju created extra 36 LCDAs which led to the disagreement between Lagos and the OBJ led FG. They are still working till date. Nigeria needs someone who believes in this!
First of it’s kind

3. Economy: With an IGR of just over 600million naira when he took over, different initiatives which included the reorganization of the LIRS led to an unprecedented IGR of over 7billion monthly after 8 years, the sustainability of which has brought same to 57bn in 2022.

4. Health: Decentralization of the Health Management Board led to the creation of LASAMBUS, an ambulance management scheme, Hospital Services Commission and Lagos State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency. In addition, policies such as “Roll Back Malaria”, “Jigi Bola, Free Health Policy for children below 16 year and adults above 65 years are verifiable ones that stood him out then. The First of its Kind.

5. Infrastructure: Roads, Railway Roadmaps, Port Roadmaps, Housing Roadmaps. Hospital Roadmaps.

Because Nigerians like you don't have value for achievements. The ONLY THING driving Nigerians is MONEY they can get NOW - Immediate gratification (what I termed IMMEDIACY syndrome).

Note that Aspirants like Dele Momodu of PDP and Tunde Bakare and co of APC that did not share dollars got Zero votes.

FUNDAMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE (PARTIAL LISTING) 1. Anambra was the first State to commence Sub- Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, I left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds. 2. For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United States, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State. Before my tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners. 3. Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance. 4. He was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP- MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria. 5. The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects. 6. The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country. 7. The State's ground-breaking return of schools to their original owners - Voluntary Agencies (Churches) on 1st January 2009, and subsequent partnership with the Agencies in Education, saw the State move from 24th position out of 36 States to Number One in National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations for three consecutive years. This made the World Bank to commission a study, led by the renowned Prof. Paul Collier of Oxford University, on this revolutionary partnership and phenomenal achievement. 8. The State also entered into strategic partnership with the Churches in the Health sector. This symbiotic relationship resulted in a tremendous boost to health care because of the services offered by health institutions owned by Voluntary Agencies, while the State restored grants to the agencies and made available to them more than 50 million Dollars in various types of support. 10. Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, his Government funded the transformation of -: a: Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi; b: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala; c: St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha; d: Holy Rosary Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha; and e: St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu. His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed. 11. His Government won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (1 Million dollars) as the best- performing state in immunisation in the South-East. With complementary funding from our Government, they used the money to build 10 Maternal and Child Care Centres across the State, particularly in rural communities, in partnership with the Churches. 12. The State was the first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools, including 22,500 from HP. The Managing Director for Personal Systems Group HP Inc, Mr. FabriceCampoy described the deployment as the biggest of such projects in the Middle-East and Africa. 13. Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far. 14. The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Back

He got the history in his previous administration and he is the ONLY presidential candidate that have demonstrated the zeal for restructuring in Nigeria.

Why do we need restructuring in Nigeria? We all agree it is based on the below angle:

--State Policing: Asiwaju is the only candidate that has consistently challenged the federal government on the need for a state police. He tried during his tenure to create state police from the good faction of OPC then but obasanjo frustrated him. He then went ahead to create RRS which he improved to the best police squad in Nigeria.

--Devolution of power to the local governments: Tinubu has done with with success in Lagos. He created 36 LCDAs to give power closer to the people. OBJ again tried to stop him which was why he seized lagos allocation. Yet, the LG still stand today with those LCDAs building projects and health center that other state governor cannot dare to do.

--Revenue independency: Do you know Tinubu was the first governor to challenge the FG on the need for states to hold their VAT? He took the FG to court during OBJ tenure and even proceeded to the supreme court. Many people thought Wike was the first person to do this VAT, but it was actually Tinubu that started the fight.

--Fiscal Policy: Before Tinubu, taxing in lagos used to be manual process where tax agents record taxes of business in the manual way and this allow companies to scam the governmrnt by not paying what is due. Tinubu was the first governor to fully digitize tax collection in Lagos through LIRS and expand the net such that he increased the revenue to over 700% percent in his 8 years as governor. Infact, the Federal government copied LIRS method to create their FIRS who till now are not as efficient as Lagos owned LIRS. That is intelligence, we need that in the FG.

Abeg make I hear WORD, Tinubufams, why didn't you include the setting up of Agbero's in his achievements, Lastma is the worst entity Tinubu created in Lagos state, they're meant to control traffic but what they know how to do best is arrest you for switching lanes or Oga u no wear your seat belt, Lasma now move around with Agbero's, they tow your vehicle or remove your plate number, do you think that's an achievement, well all I know is may God choose the right leader for us.

Enough is Enough!!!

2023 will be the youths vs the criminals
it won't be business as usual.

That well packaged fraud called Obi, tell us just 4 of his legacies today in Anambra as former Governor.

If you can't, then u and your ilks can keep lying to yourselves. Laslas, obi won't get past 3m votes
QueenOfTheCoast:

the youths are coming

they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual old tribalism and tribal card tactics.

But we'll remind them that tribalism won't bring back dollars to at least 400
tribalism won't bring back fuel to 95 naira
tribalism won't send our undergraduates back to school.
tribalism won't fix our security.
tribalism won't develop our economy.

since suffering knows no tribe or religion, since we're suffering together irrespective of our tribe and religion, it's also fair if we get it right together by sending thieves and those who thinks they can rape Nigeria TURN by TURN.
