Thanks so much... I am new on this thread..

This has been spoken about on here many times, this is NO longer a requirement since March 2022!!! No one needs to be vaccinated, nor do you need to do a Covid test. Just book your flights and come in as you please.[/quote]

Thank you so much for your response.
Does it mean it's now tls/VAC that she is now waiting to send mail for passport collection?

Also, how much is the paid call ? And Please at any time she receives the mail for passport collection from VAC. Can you please come and quote me here. I would really appreciate that.

My MIL did her biometrics on the 28th of April, just did a paid call now and was told decision has been made.

NB; Things that changed from my letter

1. I reduced the duration from 7 days to 5 days
2. Reduced Accomodation to 70K from 150K and backed it up with booking reservation
3. Reduced living expenses from 100K to 50K
4. Got an unexpected salary increment I had to update.

I needed up applying later than I intended because I was waiting on a sponsor but when that fell through, I just had to wing it.

Thanks to everyone. I've been a lurker on this thread for a very long time, and it helped me start preparing my mind early.

Try Qatar, Ethopian and Turkish. All okay. I won't recommned Egypt. Don't know much about Rwanda Airline.

Hello gurus

Asking for a brother though

Is 21 days for a family visit for an adult who’s going to sponsor himself except accommodation and feeding by his host appropriate or too long?

Your opinion please

10 - 21 days reasonable. Depends on his income and savings. Let him work with those figures.

Yes, just waiting for the collection email from TLS. I don't even know how long it takes.

Paid call is 69pence per minute, it only starts counting when the agent picks the call.

same here. Biometrics on April 28th, sent paid mail, appears a decision was made, guess we have to chill for mail/text from TLS for passport collection.
