I am not familiar with the details of the electoral act so can't comment on this but it sounds good. The only problem I see is whether the portal will be accessible to the public (I would think the answer is NO). They will have to take the result sheet to the collation centre...and this is where the drama always begin....by the time you get to the centre there are 2 or 4 versions of the result and the REC will be called to make the right decision.....you saw the primary election of Banky W ( Two legitimately looking results - in one Banky W won in the other he lost). This is where inconclusive elections begin. Election result is only valid when the REC declares it.

And then internet connection or missing election results. If the REC cannot sight the original result that was uploaded to the portal ( and trust the APC and PDP thugs to make this happen). REC may declare the election in that area inconclusive.

I live in SW too, a Yoruba man places more priority on his culture/ tribe than religion. They believe they're Yorubas first before being a Christian. There are some cultures they still hold tightly even as Christians. They are more of cultural, regional people than religious unlike SS and SE. They will surely subpedal once the campaigns kick off

Do you think they as the majority are still happy with their Fualni Master and Killers?! Do you think they are fools?! You think they are enjoying being enslaved on their Ancestral Father Land?! 75% of Northern Population are Hausas, and they are Solidly immovably behind Tinubu. Okies....you don't seem to understand the process...just because you uploaded a result doesn't make it valid under the law....election processes are never perfect but there is no where in the world where you just upload a result from a polling unit without verification.....in Nigeria verification happens at the collation centre

The Prof was from University of Petroleum, Effurun, Warri, Delta State. That result was for Rivers State in favour of Jonathan (PDP). That result was computed at Abuja by PDP, it had nothing to do with election in Rivers State. There were so many intrigue surrounding that result.. INEC representative was not aware of that result.

Elder Godsday Orubebe almost truncate INEC operations because of that result. Prof Mahmud Jega handled the situation with maturity.
