Omofaye99:- We actually do know how many... And it's just 6. - that literally not an answer.. Again, how can it be better than an AH that carries the same ordinance?... Fact is it can't be better, you bought it because they are cheap. - actually you don't have more SPHs... Might want to re chech you research my bru ![]() - OK ill spoon feed you SA Coast line 2800km Nigeria coast line 850km - SAS Protea has won International awards for her hydrographic surveys.... She might be old but she is certainly not inferior to NN Lana which is a small multi purpose boat with some hydrographic survey capability. - are you saying the Nigerian Government is delusional? Because I was quoting them wrt your defense budget. - our Lst is at the same place as your Frigates, Subs, TDL, air defence system, spy satellite, Motorised ATGM ect ect ect. - without shifting the goalpost, show us your air defence system - we have f22s... But its classified ![]() ![]() - just saying "it's better" doesn't make it better.... We have also have several man portable, as well as Drone ATGMs however we know you need a full spectrum of ATMGs hence we have the Ratel Zt3 - I Know... That's why most operators retired the tin shield decades ago. - OK let me rephrase then, what blue force tracker is in operation with Nigeria? - are you saying we don't have Frigates, Subs, spy satellite, Motorised ATGMs, TDL ect ect? |

SA Military Academy team flies the flag high at international cyber strategy challenge "The South African team, entered as the Cyber Soldiers, was one of four African teams selected. Major Engela Meintijies, Academy communication officer, reports the Saffer cyber soldiers were a surprise package, progressing to the semi-finals and being the last African team standing." “Their achievement saw them beat experienced teams and finished as the best placed military team,” she said noting it was “a considerable achievement for a first-time team and coach”. The Geneva Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge is a respected international competition designed to provide senior university students with a deeper understanding of the strategic and policy challenges associated with escalating cyber incidents and potential cyber conflict. The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Atlantic Council host the event. https://www.defenceweb.co.za/cyber-defence/sa-military-academy-team-flies-the-flag-high-at-international-cyber-strategy-challenge/ 3 Likes |

DaddyGoo: In this case, we don't lack the capacity. This is a waste of tax payers resources. There are a minimum of 6 Armoured vehicle manufacturers in Nigeria. We don't need the army wasting resources on capabilities that not only exist, but are at a peak stage of maturity. 2 Likes |

During the Soviet era the communists took in students from all over the world and educated them for free. This is why Russia currently has a lot of international support. But in a generation it won't last because they don't do it anymore. China currently has such a program and it will pay off for the big-time in a few decades. They play the long game in geopolitics 1 Like |

Omofaye99:- From actual trade registers mate..Nigeria only bought 6 VT4s - This is a well funded military? see pic - I never said the Tucano are bad... In fact they are very good however they are not as good as a AH... Also you there is no definitive contract yet wrt the AH1Zs... However additional Mi35M would have been better suited. - The SA army has 64 SPH and Nigeria has 30 - I said we patrol more water fool... You said we dont. - how many international awards has NN Lana won? Besides the fact that she is a small multi purpose ship where as SAS Protea is a dedicated hydrographic survey ship and with ice breaking capability - I couldn't care less what you told me... I look at the actual facts as in your government budget. - When you don't have an answer you resort to pathetic, irrelevant insults ![]() - SA7(obsolete), GDF002(old and obsolete hence why SA only operate 005 and 007 models ), type 90(GDF002 copy), bofors(WW2 era), Shilka(very old, obsolete), Roland (I actually think Nigeria disposed of there Roland missiles because they were so old), F7/Mig21(I'm not talking about aircraft) - Then stop making up bogus stories and claiming its "classified" - See pic 2.... Are those not missiles? - No they don't hence you can't name them - because GPS does not track every soldier/vehicle /aircraft/ship individually in realtime and it does not share that information seamlessly with each other - yes kondor e infact....whats your spy satellite called?

Omofaye99:- it's on Sipiri... Go check for yourself if you don't believe me.... Otherwise just stfu if you can't counter what I've said with actual sources. - No how well/poorly they are kitted does....they literally look like a militia - when did I ever say Nigeria isn't getting JF-17s and why would I be disappointed by it? Also I said Leonardo(the company that builds the M-346 denied receiving an order from Nigeria) I will be more than welcome to eat my words when your m346 do arrive (or not) - shifting the goal posts again? We can move to towed howitzers once you admit we have in fact more SPHs ![]() - fantastic rebuttal - we don't have an Lst.... But unlike you I don't claim the SANDF has capabilities it does not have... Unlike you. - it's not what I think, its what the Nigerian government has set out on black and white... Go ask your government why Nigeria spend less on Defence. - did you not say I'm a drug abuser? And call me dumb in this very post I'm qouting? - don't worry Chad can test them out with a single mig29..... And yes we have much much better Air defence... See pic -if its classified how would you know about it? Or are actually Augustines new moniker ![]() - can you not see with your eyes that it's armed? - again you don't hence you can't name them. - nope certainly not a must for third world malitia but crucial for proper professional militaries.... -" the South-African Ministry of Defense awarded a contract to the Russian company NPO Mashinostroenia (NPO Mash for short) for the development of a spy satellite with a synthetic aperture radar, capable of all-weather, day-and-night imaging" 1 Like
