No you don’t need to anymore. When you get here and you decide to then you can. Just get your biometric card, register with a GP etc Am sure your partner would put you through.

“Increase staffing to reduce waiting times for visas”

I saw this petition link on Reddit and I am like we aren’t the only one on the waiting window.

Says; At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition. Currently 6,812 of 10,000.

Refund of IHS payment

Good morning house i don't know if this is the right place to confirm this information. If not kindly direct me to the right group.
pls i am trying to assist my friend working in health care to get refund of his ihs. i was told that when one work for six months one can apply for refund of ihs. i am trying to apply but is saying that if the application is successful it will be send to the bank or card used to pay the ihs. i am confused because my friend used his dollar account and card from Nigeria to make payment. How can this be transferred to Nigeria account??
why not our account here in the uk. how can one take the money since it will take years to go back home.

please is there anybody in the health sector that has successfully applied? kindly put me through pls. see attached . Thank you

Yep there are people from India and Pakistan that are similarly affected, and more African countries. Their staffing levels is an issue.

Hi everyone,

I recently got a 5 year visa to the UK and will like my newly wedded wife to join me. I’m worried because we just got married about a week ago. What kind of evidences can I submit to prove that we have a valid marriage. And how do I document. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hello everyone, please Is there anyone that applied for spouse visa and re-appealed, and the appealed was allowed, the UKVI contacted me to submit my passport and also do another Tuberculosis test, that the decision was overturn. So I submitted both passport and Tb test on the 31st of May,2022. But up till now, I am yet to get feedback from them. Do anyone have an idea how long it takes for them to respond? I was at Tls contact some days ago and I was told to keep checking my email… but it’s frustrating… will be glad if anyone can assist. Thanks.

I don’t know if sending a paid email would help, maybe you should look into it but if it doesn’t, then you just have to wait it out, meanwhile, congratulations on the decision that was overturned in your favour, hopefully you will get your collection email soon.
