In as much as I don’t really care so much about who wins today, I’m a little more on Segun Oni’s side. I was supporting Wale Fapounda initially but Fayemi imposed BAO and that’s it for me. I’ve never campaigned for BAO even though I wish him well.

Ekiti people including myself are tired of Fayose and Fayemi. Segun Oni is just a beneficiary of that anger. In terms of alignment, Oni is a close ally of Tinubu. He will align with him when it is time for general election irrespective of the outcome of today’s election.
