There cannot be any merger at this time. The Inec law clearly states that any party that wishes to merge must give Inec a 9 months notice before a merger and there are also due processes that need to be followed after that notice is given.

We are in June. All submissions end in February and that is 8months away. The window for a merger has closed.

NNPP and LP will not merge. They will likely try something else but not a merger.
