This is to encourage someone waiting to hear from the embassy, do not worry, keep calm you’re next.

After four months, Finally the wait is over. Recalled I got my one year visa in January (we were the first batch that was issued this year wink) before they now changed it to 3 months validity.

In February I quickly applied for my wife and daughter so we could travel together but unfortunately we didn’t hear from the embassy so I traveled alone in March and returned in April, my wife was called for interview March ending, since then nothing, after several emails, they finally got their visas yesterday. smiley smiley

Hello please what exactly are the likely questions do they asked your wife during the interview period....because my wife has been called for interview....so I don't really know what exactly they my her asked at the embassy

Normal questions,…. I don’t think it needs any preparation

Purpose of travel
Places to visit
When and duration of visit.
Sometimes they do ask if you’re pregnant, sometimes they don’t.
What do you do in Nigeria?
Have you traveled out before?
Bla bla bla

Hello everyone, I’ve been following the thread for some months since I applied in early March, thankfully just got my Visa/picked the passport. 3months validity was given.
So I’ll drop some of my own experience so that I’ll also receive
I applied with my husband, I was called for interview a month after,
Interview questions: purpose of travel, travel history, who are you going with etc? Just normal interview questions.
Then 2months after got called to pick up. Also I have a good travel history that covers countries in different continents (America, Asia, Europe, Africa).

Please I’ll like to ask for fun things to do in Brazil. (Rio)
If anyone can be kind enough to give good hints to save cost etc.
Plan going in July, how’s the weather etc.

Congratulations!

Rio is a lot of fun with lots of tourist attractions (Christ the redeemer, Sugarloaf, Copacabana Beach, Escadaria Selarion, Boat Cruises, Skydiving etc) The people are more laid back than most parts of Brazil.

If you’re going for birth tourism, you may want to look at other states though as Rio is considered generally unsafe.

As for the weather, it’s beautiful and mostly warm. I was there around July of a particular year, it was hot and the tourist guide said that was winter in Rio.
It’s cold in São Paulo, Santa Catarina and some other states at the moment till November or so.

Have fun!

She can do visa on arrival for the baby. it takes less than 10 min to get when you arrive Nigeria. Although application and approval must be done before leaving Brazil.

Please, get Brazil Visa instead. Going through Suriname is not that easy oo, that should be your last option. Ask questions on this thread on how to go about the visa, people like pj3400, Techspot, keet, walex et all will assist you, take your time and read this thread from the first PAGE. But if going through the back door( Bolivia, Suriname, Uruguay) is the only option, best of luck.

Hi, Please i'm coming to Sao Paulo soon... I will like to contact you to ask for some details.. lets chat Please

São Paulo has a better safety reports than Rio.

Maybe you can try there. Not sure I won’t suggest Rio to a noob. The reports are scary.
