Why Tinubu Is Still The Godfather Of Lagos Politics. by ENGINEERG(m): 11:23am On Jun 19, 2022 |
Lagos has been the commercial capital of Nigeria. It is the number one state in Nigeria, with so much money. But Tinubu is determining everything. .........This is the reasons.......... Population of Lagos is almost 22million. In last election 6.5 million registered to vote. But like 1 million voted. That's 15% of the voter population. And that is 4.5% of total population. So 1 million people determines who rules 22 million people. And Majority of this 1 million voters are made up of people in his structure & their families, touts, thugs, market women, transporters, etc. So this show a lot of people are living in Lagos but minding their own businesses. If most people participate in politics , this can't happen. And this is what our politician don't want. |

Bola enjoying the envious position of a God father... Show me one politician that does not envy him.. He is what Obasanjo wanted to be to Jonathan that made Jonathan kukuma scatter PDP that year. I understand if some Yoruba people do not like or understand Tinubu... The reason is simply because we Yoruba are not used to people of his calibre that welds so much power, awe and influence. Tinubu is in the class of Awolowo and MKO Abiola. When these two were alive, they were condemned and dispersed by a large number of Yoruba people, a people which their level of education has created a heightened sense of self righteousness in. At least, when Awolowo was alive he was not appreciated by us, Yoruba because of the rumors that he was making too much money from Coca-Cola, a company he helped incorporate in Nigeria, some of the rumors was he making too much money from the commodity markets. Among many rumors that was spread about the great man... It took death before Yoruba would come to understand Awolowo. Same goes for MKO Abiola, it took his death for Yoruba to accept his love for the Yoruba folks, we heard many damming rumors how he stole money, how he sank a whole shipload of Bibles, how he used biro to change the figures on a cheque from 1 zero to 10 zeroes etc... The same is happening to Bola Tinubu, his political success has brought along to him many enemies Yorubas have a lot to learn because what Tinubu is that is looking somehow to us, the North has 1000s of men in the mold of Tinubu... 2 Likes |
