Try contacting their customer support team... This is why I commend Gemini, Paxful and Yellow Card, they've curbed this by providing strong security framework through KYC.
Someone is asking for directions and you're here advertising. Which of the exchanges does not have fraudsters?

Ltc... adjusting s/l to 61 which is the liquidation price with 3x leverage in light of the recent developments.

So if it pumps, you are willing to hold a losing trade from 30-61 because of low leverage?!!! When you could have longed and shorted later? shocked shocked

You didn't read the previous post well. The price level was at 45 and not 30.
If someone is practicing proper risk mgmt, the change won't affect them much. It won't get to 61 and if it does, i'm willing to admit i was wrong.
I don't know it all and I placed a disclaimer there for a reason.
The idea of longing and shorting later is for daytraders and scalpers. The trade ideas i send for crypto is for people who want to SWING trade and have peace of mind.

Bros no vex o...but this is kind trade na just for trading sake na.... you won't loose, you won't win.

Abeg kindly explain further. I dey learn.

Method 1:

In that his picture, he will need to DCA into the losing side so as to lower his TP price.

If BTC pumps, he shorts key resistance levels. If it dumps, he buys support levels and TP when that amount is in profit. Or he reduces position sizes as both sides come into profit so the usdt profit can provide stability.

Having both long and shorts active in same ratio makes liquidation impossible. Same with having more weight on the winning side.

Problem arises if the positions are not well managed and the losing side has more weight.

Method 2:

Another way to hedge is with non stable coins as assets because as the underlying assets pump, it adds more margin to your short position(s).

Let's assume you buy $150 btc at $18000 on spot and short $150+ btc at $19000 on futures ($50 @ 3x or $100@1.5x leverage). Equal or greater units too.

You will have successfully locked that 5% profit in using this hedging strategy. Whether btc pumps or dumps, that 5% is locked in.

The interesting part is that you can move the $150 btc in spot to futures, making it impossible to liquidate that short position no matter how btc pumps because your collateral matches your loan, essentially making it like a spot trade. You can even remove the extra $50 usdt or use it to scalp.

If you are thinking of buying the dip now and you don't want to DCA to 12k, 9k or even 3k btc, this strategy might be useful for bagging btc, eth, bnb, sol, dot, Ada and xrp at key support levels as they can all be moved to futures for shorting/hedging.

You can close the short when the bottom is in (say Q1 2023) and then go long.

If the bottom is already in, you can sell the coins at the very top and then go short.

If market keeps going up you can further short resistance levels and TP on retraces, rather than buy the top with fresh funds.

@Bearmoon

Watch videos from Steve about the Gaussian Channel or Gaussian chart. That is why I didn't. Though, I did some longs within these period, took profit, and switched to short. In this business, I'm just an opportunist after carefully analysing things.

Also, I have 98% conviction we'll hit the 200 MA in months to come before a real bullrun will take place.

So, we need a proper capitulation before we can be confident in a real bullrun, else it's fake.

Below is a video Steve posted today. It's only his channel and another guy called Benjamin Cowen I watch. Though, I watch all of Steve's videos and for Benjamin, it just once in a blue moon.

This is helpful. Thanks. I want to ask if this method I read somewhere is also better.

Now that this is a bear market, is it okay to say I use higher fund to short while I use a smaller fund to long instead of DCA everytime the coin moves?

See this...I want to heldge Eth, for my short, I use 300 usdt, for long I use 100 usdt. I want to leave the trade for some days and not checking every minutes. Is this possible?

It's very possible and also profitable since we are in bear market so the short side should have more weight as we are more likely to go down than go up.

If you do this with 1x or 1.1x leverage, you won't get liquidated. With higher leverage you might want to DCA both sides to avoid liquidation wicks.

You will make more profit as market dumps and you can close the short at the bottom and use it to average down your long.

It's essentially a $200 short that allows you to TP on the long side while maintaining the size of the short side. Or vice versa.
