Frankrobbn1:Hi sir, pls help me answer this question I got my admission in January, we made the first tuition deposit in February, took about 2 months to gather documents for the visa process. I submitted my application on May 14, 2022. Biometrics was done 23 May, 2022, updated same day. I had an upfront medical exam on 16 April 2022 Medicals was updated on 16 May 2022 I got my refusal letter, 17 June 2022. Reason: insufficient financial funds for me and accompanying family member (my mom) I might apply again, so i thought to use the GIC as proof of funds with CIBC. Is this advisable? Does anyone know how the process works? how do i order gcms notes i feel i still have time to apply and also get my visa before school resumption in the fall. Thank you |

I have a question please, some of my sponsor documents carry for example "folorunsho and folorunso" please hope it will not be an issue since I also beer the same surname as folorunsho, or I should go ahead with an affidavit to prove it the same. Please I need clarity on this please. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 11:37pm On Jun 19, 2022 |
oluwjuwonlo: If you bear the same surname, you can't bear the same first name and middle name. If your sponsor is a relative, it's natural that your surname may be same. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by oluwjuwonlo: 11:53pm On Jun 19, 2022 |
ShowYoung: Thank you for your response, but I mean this person is my blood brother, but our family name is spelled as " folorunsho" but some of my brother's documents which I have with me I notice the family name been spelled as "folorunso", so am asking if the V.O officer will not see that as inconsistency in the family name? |

Hello All, a huge pleasure being on here. Read through some of the contents on here but most of it addressed those applying for post graduate studies. Please I wish to apply to MUN (Memorial University of Newfoundland) for an undergraduate degree in Computer Science(IT systems), please I really need all help I can get. My dad is my sponsor. Note - I'm 25 years of age. Had some health issues and couldn't get through with my current degree program. Question 1- Would my age affect my application as my high school cert. was issued 2014? Q2- Which would be more recommended a college or a uni? Q. 3- What documents would I require and processes if any? (I am traveling alone) Would like to get the upfront medicals, need help on how to proceed. Please I would appreciate every help I can get on here, thanks in advance... |
