Senatorial Ticket: Ekpoudom Optimistic of Victory as Akpabio Begs Him to Accept Party’s Decision Despite the submission of the name of former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswin Akpabio to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by the national leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), DIG Udom Ekpoudom (rtd) is still optimistic of flying the party flag for the Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial district election come 2023. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/06/20/senatorial-ticket-ekpoudom-optimistic-of-victory-as-akpabio-begs-him-to-accept-partys-decision/ Lalasticlala 2 Likes

Nigerian politicians lust for power never cease to amaze me. See as most of dem wey contest and fail presidential primary don dey shake shake lyke drug addict wey never take im drug for a long while only for dem to run back to disrupt the peaceful and successful senatorial primaries. Lawal , Akpabio and co na person force una resign from una hobby (ABUJA WORK) go contest for presido? 35 Likes |

So if your claims are anything to go by, why then are you people begging Mr. Ekpoudom to relinquish his ticket to akpabio Mind you, Mike Igini isn't a kind of man that play games. Just accept that it is all over for akpabio. APC sending akpabio's name to INEC amount to uselessness, because at the appropriate time, Mr . Udom Ekpoudom's name shall be the name on the ballot for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District under APC. 36 Likes |

Why should he accept the party choice? And is it even possible for someone that did not partake in the primaries to become a flag-bearer? Political comedians at the corridor of power. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Ekpoudom na correct guy, he was one of the person's Akpabio recommended for AIG during his time as Governor. Well, I believe he and Akpabio can come to a compromise. But Akpabio sef, he should stop looking for Plan B, since he has forfeited his meal for the Mr. Shaker 1 Like |

APC is a lawless party and the direct opposite of the change they claim to be. If not, how would a party substitute the name of someone that won a primary with someone that did not even participate in the process. Nigerians must strive at all cost to free themselves from the shackles and poverty bondage of APC by voting them out of power in 2023 election. 4 Likes |

Even if the man agrees, can a political party just put a name that they like to replace a supposed winner of the primary? APC is just being foolish here. All PDP needs to do is to come and second and then go to court and claim that APC has not candidate because Akpabio did not contest in the primary and as such has no reason at all to be on the ballot paper. The same thing applies to Ahmed Lawal. Those duo should go and look for another profession to do in the next 4 years. They can learn a trade if they have no other job to do 8 Likes 2 Shares |
