I'm 100% sure the people you hired are not COREN registered. Having an engineering degree does not make you automatically an engineer. You have to show 4 years of relevant experience under another COREN registered engineer, and then get certified.

Those sets of persons don't come cheap, and that's why persons like you resort to the fresh grads and quacks.

Hire a COREN certified engineer, and pay that premium fee for the right experience. All this rubbish is because we don't put strong regulations on the profession. And the average set of mischief from Nigerians

In my house that I live here, it has been 27 years now and yet we do not have a crack and it was built by bricklayers. Visit rural areas and see mud houses that have been standing for over 50 years come rain come shine. I do not condemn your write up oo, but I think you should have been more objective rather than cast.

Not casting bricklayers,engineers will still use a bricklayer on the field,but most bricklayers always believe there's no need for engineers on site..

That's because you are yet to see a civil engineering work been done,I went for a network mast construction in jigawa last 3years,you won't even know who is the engineer on site,because network mast construction has delivery date,and if you don't meet up,it's either you are short changed or not even paid,depending on the degree.....

I'm a very fair guy in complexion but dark now due to working in the sun,so those you see not touching concrete and co just needed the money and no passion..

Plan is the bird view/horizontal view of a structure i.e Floor or roof

There are Elevations & section which are vertical view i.e Side, back or front

The whole working drawing consists of Architectural drawings, structural drawings, Mechanical drawings & Electrical drawings.
