Good day all and glad to be here. Please can I apply for an MSW to a Canadian university after being refused a US student visa in May ,2022( based on not being able to convince the VO of return after Masters studies) and in June 2022 (based on wrong appointment schedule)? Please your knowledge and experience will be highly appreciated. Thank you |

Can one apply for a fiancée after landing. Even though there’s no marriage ties yet? Frankrobbn1: |

a friend in Canada told me not to submit a web form until the processing time is complete and you don’t have a response. He said it will make you look desperate and the visa officer might deny it. mightysam002: |
Guys please I need help with family application. Who has applied recently on the new portal? I want to apply for a VV for my spouse and not SOWP. To apply for my spouse, I added a new application by clicking the plus sign on the application main page. Please, Is that the right way? To my surprise, there's no option of I want to accompany my spouse. The one closer to my answer is I want to visit my spouse who is an international student. Pls is this right too? Then, it goes on to ask for the address of the spouse who is an international student. I am also just applying and I have no address in Canada yet. Should I just use my Institution address? Lastly, where it asks for national Identity, document number, and date of issue, can I use voters card or international passport instead of NIN because the NIN does not have a date of issue. Thank you in advance for your help. The New portal cannot allow you do that. You would have to use the old portal( Gckey) for your family application. |

You have to pay VFS the transmission fee for each of the kids. Iam assuming they are below 14 years , so biometrics were not necessary.
|

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 4:05am On Jun 21, 2022 |
Blakmandk: Visa Officer cannot deny your visa because you submitted a webform. The content and attachment of the webforms will state the reason why you are contacting them. Your application may be delayed only if you provided additional information or documents that could greatly impact the outcome of your application. Even if they have made a decision, they could hold on to consider the new documents or information you have just shared: hence this could cause delay but not denial. If a conference is two weeks away and your processing time has reached the stipulated normal time and you are not getting any response, it is natural that you contact them because of time. 1 Like 1 Share |

danielck22: 1. Your age would not lower your chances. 2. Either a college or university is good, your study is what you should focus on. 3. You need to seek admission first, after admission and honouring the terms and conditions therein, you can proceed to visa application. Documents needed for visa application include but are not limited to POF documents, passport bio-data page, birth certificate, SOP, LOA, tuition deposit/fee if any etc. In conclusion, everything depends on how you package your application and address all the factors that determine visa decision outcome (Home Ties, Purpose of Visit, Academic/Career Progression, Financial and Personal Assets etc) |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 4:29am On Jun 21, 2022 |
Hiralegend: The US study visa refusal does not prevent you from applying to Canada. Just ensure you tell the truth and package your application well. |
