ok thanks mr frank but what are my chances if i choose to apply along with my spouse and my son(less than one year old) or is it much advisable they join later!

You can certainly apply as a family while you take advantage of the fact that you've a one year old son who you can't leave behind in Nigeria and would need the presence of your husband in Canada to be with you to provide support: emotionally and financially.

It will end in praise

Hi fam,
Please how do I know which one is the old and new IRCC website?
What should be the content (like, what information should I add?) of the email to send? My application is overdue, yet no response/update from IRCC.
Thanks for your response in advance.

what about for those going for three years course for family of 3...how much is expected to be presented as bank statement

ShowYoung:

If you are staying for just one year, you can provide POF for just one year, but if you're going for 2 years, it is better you provide POF for 2 years.

Providing means of finance which is not readily available leaves you at the mercy of the visa officer which is always a slim chance.

As an applicant that has a sponsor, am I suppose to submit the normal bank statement or My bank statement designated for visa purpose?

Hello house. I was denied a visit visa in 2020 and I declared then that I was running an MBA program., even attached my admission letter. Now with ASUU strike palaver, I'm thinking of dropping out and pursuing a PGD in Canada. Is there a need for me to mention in my SOP that I am have dropped out of the MBA program. The reason is that I don't know if my previous file would be revisited when I apply for study visa. Kindly advise.

You should not conceal the fact that you were running an MBA program in the past: you should update them that the program was not successful due to some reasons, and that you wish to pursue a PGD in Canada now.

Thank you @Lekiboboe. Please, how do i know if the program and school i'll be going to offers PGWP. Are there sites to check this.

You are welcome

How to Check if a School is a DLI (Designated Learning Institute) & Offers PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit)

Visit the Link below

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html

Step 1: Choose the province or territory your school is in.

Step 2: Type in keywords the name of the school

As you can see in the image below, I selected ONTARIO as a province, and I typed Seneca, it showed me the details of the school i.e the DLI number and also showed me that the school offers PGWP Eligible programs. It's a must for an international student to apply to schools in Canada that offers PGWP eligible programs.

As you can also see in the image below, I selected ONTARIO as a province, and i typed Canadian Career Education College, it showed me the details of the school i.e the DLI number and also showed me that the school don't offer PGWP Eligible programs. An international student should run away from any Canadian school that doesn't offer PGWP eligible programs if he/she want to be eligible to stay in Canada after his/her studies.

Hi Everyone,

Good afternoon and thanks to everyone for keeping this thread alive - even those that just read without posting a comment. It's good to know I'm not alone on this journey.

I have a couple of questions, please see below.

1. Just logged on to TMS and saw that my Form A request is now in Supervisor's stage for the new request I opened with Globus Bank 2 weeks ago. Should I go-ahead to fund the account now, or will they notify me? The tuition is in my UBA account and it's still under Reviewer stage - almost 2 months I started with UBA and have gone to the Branch a couple of times too, still no show.

2. The school fees I showed on my application is lower than the 2022/2023 fees that has now been communicated by the school - UNB, though I stated this on my application that amount quoted was an estimate and marked it up by 10% and also attached the email from school that fees will be advised by end of May, but I could work with last session fees if I was ready to pay, and the difference will be covered later, and I attached all these communications to my study permit application. I want to send my medical form via webform since I did upfront medical on May 14th and it's yet to be updated. Should I also send updated school bills and evidence of additional funds in my account to cover the variance with school fees, alongside e-medical form? Submitted study permit application for myself and daughter on 14th of May and only biometrics have been updated.

Your view will be highly appreciated.

But you are eligible to apply for PR after 1 year work experience. So it's possible to remain in canada even if it is not a pgwp approved school.

Please, what are the information to include in these emails?
That depends on your circumstance... If it's to let them know you have an additional documents to be added to your application, state it clearly....
But make sure you state your FULL NAME, UCI number, APPLICATION number and Date of Birth. And use the email attached to your application to send the mail to them.
