We thought we had one in Musa Mohammed , the captain of 2015 U-17 set till the guy fizzled out.Emmanuel is promising though. Make we wait and see.
Musa Mohammed was 2013
That guy wasn’t this good with free kicks
You shouldn’t mention his name where this Micheal is.

Bet how did the Addo guy get his own job with Dortmund? It's hard for black players already not to talk of black africans. Besides Tigana and Vieira, I haven't seen too many black coaches at the top tier. We can't be that dumb now.

A:ddo was born there..

Euro:peans and every other ethnicity create and protect and keep job positions for their citizens especially jobs that consist of hundreds and millions of eu:ros. It has nothing to do with been dumb.

That's there own version of quota system and it's their country so they will give opportunities to their indigenes first before anyone.

You will never ever see many bla:ck coaches in top tier leagues.

That Addo guy was born in Germany though..

No doubt, blacks aren't being given enough opportunities at the top level of football administration..
Look at England...so many black players there, but very few black coaches and literally no black referee in the top division...
Exactly, Rahimi sterling said that too. France's own is terrible, when you see their team, una go think say na African team, yet the black players who were stars while playing just don't get the opportunities, same for the Dutch.

Pidgin is partially right though.

Musa Mohammed of the 2013 U17 Class was decent from freekicks. He bagged one at that year's World Cup and a few for the team before the WC.

Kelechi Nwakali followed in the 2015 class. An even better freekick specialist than Musa Muhammed. Scored one FK goal at the U17 Afcon in Niger 2015 out of his 3 tournament goals And scored another at the WC vs Mexico.

But now, this kid Emmanuel Michael is likely gonna be the best of the bunch. Michael eats FKs for breakfast.

6 FK attempts at this Wafu B U17 Tournament alone and he has bagged 3 FK goals. Boy is too wicked from dead balls abeg.

And what makes him extra special from dead balls is he is dangerous from any almost distance with a freekick. Short distance and long distance, Michael seems comfortable.

Nwakali is skilled at FKs from 25-30 yards. But Michael looks wickedly skilled at FKs from even 40 yards. A real deadball terror.

His 3 FK goals have come from different angles, distances and areas of the pitch.

First FK goal vs Ghana was from the right halfspace area outside box.

Second FK goal vs CIV today was from the right side outside the box near the corner flag area.

Third FK goal vs CIV today was from the left halfspace area outside the box.

His last FK attempt today was from 40 yards and he went so close. Michael is Crazy and I am so damn proud he bears a good name to go with his crazy talent. Lol.

I hope as he grows every area of his game will develop as well. Over 50% of U17 players usually go into oblivion. I am hoping he will be among those that make it.

Because they're allowed to go into Oblivion.

Pedri, gavi , Bellingham e.t.c all made their national team debuts before they reached 19 years old.

I agree with it you sir, not all the U17s from England, Spain, France make it big into professional senior football. That's life, can you imagine that US Ghanaian kid back then, Fred Adu who flattered to deceive.

Congratulations to the Golden Eaglets. At least we have a crop of yougsters to follow their development.

That WAFU B U17 Competition is the toughest those boys can play cos the tournament is tougher than the group stages of the AFCON U17 and FIFA U17.

Thank God that CAF has developed sense by increasing the AFCON U17 to 12 teams and so two more slots were given to West Africa.

How more difficult can it be to battle for tickets against Ghana, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso at U17 level. I still see this as injustice because Nigeria along side those three nations are typically good enough to fly Africa's flag at the FIFA U17 WC with even two of these teams playing in the semis and Final.

In 1985: it was Nigeria and Guinea playing each other in the semis.

1987: Nigeria and Ivory Coast got to the semis while Nigeria played in the final

1993: Nigeria and Ghana played the final

2001: Nigeria and Burkina Faso played against each other in the Semis

2007: Nigeria and Ghana in the Semis and Nigeria played in the final

2015: Nigeria and Mali played the final.

West Africa is no doubt the Power house of U17 football as the Cup has come our way a total of 7 times (Nigeria: 5 and Ghana: 2) yet those clowns in CAF are restricting us with this their useless WAFU A, WAFU B Zoning formula.

Once again congratulations to the boys because they have done well for their future not just for Nigeria. Meanwhile I still dey wait to see who go call these kids over aged.

Good evening house. I know it's been a while I posted here. Na activities here and there plus that useless WCQ heartbreak. I still dey vex angry

Burkina Faso have been playing kick and follow football all tournament. That was what they used in finishing Ivory Coast the other day. And so it has been working for them and Nigeria needs guard against that.

Glad to see talented youngsters come through this tournament.

They will need a mix of hardwork, grit and luck to cut it at senior level.

I hope these guys steer clear of greedy myopic agents and knee jerk decisions.

The recent coaching appointments by the NFF from cadet to senior level appears to be spot on..at least for now.

I think he was intimidated, Mikel won champions league, two EPL, four FA Cup, Europa league, Afcon winner and the same Oliseh was unable to break into Juventus and Dortmund team but loaned out to Reginana and Bochum though he had good time with Ajax that cannot be compared with Kanu and Finidi Ajax..If Oliseh believe Ndidi is better then Muda Lawal is ahead of Oliseh when we talk of real DM.
Oliseh intimidated by Mikel? Habaaa. Oliseh in his early 20s played against Maradona, Baggio, Maldini. He was in top flight football rubbing shoulders with European footballing elites of his generation. Na Mikel him go come envy?

Olise is an insecure individual. He needs constant affirmation that he is the boss. His man management skill leaves much to be desired. Wish him all the best in his new assignment. Hope he has learned from his mistake.
