Hello everyone, My brother had the UKielts test last month and the result is as below
Listening- 5.0
reading - 3.0
writing-6.0
Speaking- 6.5

and over all scores is 5. Will the Reading be an issue pls? find attached the result . Should he register for another IELTS if the 3.0 is an issue .


Yes, I’m afraid he has to rewrite it’s a minimum of 4 on all aspect of the test. For a health care visa this won’t fly.

Uzland people that did biometrics on the 2nd of june have received...one of my folks in did biometrics in nigeria since 24th..no show..

is this normal?? Processing time have reduced. even student visa that takes 7 weeks have started coming in a month or even a fee days less than a month

If you are a female, can provide proof of funds, have where u can stay and your travel expenses, there's a care home that needs you. IELTS of 4.0 and being vaccinated, send me a mail to give you the name of the care home. They have limited COS.

I don't have the money and requirements right now.

with a uk degree, do u still need to proof english proficiency again with ECCTIS ??
The condition on UKVI says "if you studied abroad" u will need ECCTIS...

I left nigeria 2017 after graduation...its 1000times better than being back home unless you are lazy... i was on 20hrs per week for 16months...and i was still sensing cash to my mum and sister steady...holiday period i was making better money working full time..

Not advocating for people to stay back but don't compare situations that are not the same.

How much does a student pay in taxes? Why compare the situation of a student that pays almost nothing in taxes to a full-time worker on a 24k salary? That full-time worker will struggle a lot to even have £100 in savings after taxes depending on where they live. Such person would need to get a better paying job or work crazy hours to make ends meet.

Hi everyone one.
Pls i.have something to share and need some help. Am a Canadian pr applicant and applied in September 2021. Did biometrics in January 2022 and got approved and confirmed my pr application at the ircc portal in March , and from there I begun waiting for ppr. In April I asked for GCMS notes and everything was passed except criminality review which is still in progress.
In May I was asked to resend my police clearance certificate cuz the one I submitted before had expired...... So the stress started ..... from the way naija is it took me 3 weeks to get my pcc with constant back and forth procedures. So immediately I got it, I sent it to ircc and 2 days later, they sent me a mail saying they recieved it . But up till now no ppr.
I don't know what to do, the wait is so frustrating I don't know if they've actually received the document I sent or maybe is a ghost update...... I really don't know. I've got school starting in September n am still here not even sure if I'll leave before September...... This is alrdy the 10 month since I applied very soon it'll be 1 yr
