I know of one who died in motor accident from Lagos to Kano... Emeka by name and very devoted Christian...

he had his waist separated from his body through the accident,

After he has been rushed to the hospital, he was able to make a call to informed a friend in Kano about the incident before he died. And the hospital attendance call the same friend to inform him that he has finally died.

The following day the dead man still appeared to his boy in his shop in Kano and he message him to the friend he called before his death.

Hmmmmm.
When a person is dead please note that both of you are two different entity.
Working in the mortuary is not an ordinary job to jump on fam. Saying a dead body is like wood yes you are right but my dear you should know that it is in few cases. There are corps that if you joke you will be a fellow Corp in a twink of an eye. Things that you never thought can ever happen happens among dead bodies in Morgs. Be warn and stop trying to feel like nothing de happen. Every thing the happen paddy.
A word is enough for the wise.!

My friend wantes a job at the mortuary but he failed his first test woefully.

He was made to help a staff take in coffin into the mortuary, then he was asked to pull it, immediately he did, the 'corpse' inside the casket 'woke up' and the man immediately took to his heels and ran out.

I have heard stories not to work in a mortuary but I carry my coconut head go interview, mine experience is even the worst. I helped mortician with others and dropped a coffin, immediately the others left, while I was closing the door, the 'corpse' in the coffin 'woke up' and I started screaming and banging on the door while the supposed corpse came closer to me.

I almost fainted!!

It was later I found it was all staged to test us.

They called me to come work with mouth watering benefits (I ONLY work when they bring someone to the mortuary, pension, HMO, a bag of rice at the end of every year, plus tips) but I declined.

Lol.... Here in Nigeria or where?

Why una dey do like this

Pls show us one person that has experienced anything, not just the usual dem say dem say.

Anyone can lie. The truth is they should bring tangible evidence to prove it. One trend I have noticed with backward and poverty-stricken countries is superstition and religion: two rampant diseases in Africa, large parts of Asia and some areas in eastern Europe.

Dead body is like lifeless tree.

You people believe in rumours and superstition.
Watch video below and see what those working in mortuary said.

When I was in UI, I stayed on amina way, just by anatomy.
When they brought new medical students, all young and scared, they the lock them in the theater with lots of bodies. They then turn off the light with the doors shut. They scream etc. You know what, after sometime they all get use to it.
See, from my room then, I will see eg a young girl studing, examining cadavas at 2 am. Only her in a room full of over 10 dead bodies! No fear, nothing.
Infact the medical students in the room next door all had "parts" in their rooms.
My gf then too was a medico, she had bones or skulls.
Guess what? my ash tray for cigar was, a skull scalp from a dead body!
I am not saying supernatural things might not happen, but to those medical students, there was nothing like that.
Infact there was one skull in the room we use to tap the head. It was like a play thing ie a toy in the room.
You no get joy oh. Na person pikin una dey use play komkomtikom grin

You're right, back then I frequently visit morgues to read books or meditate while I'm in School, but I've never encountered a ghost there or been slapped. In fact, it's one of the most tranquil settings for reflection or meditation..

Did you used to go inside and sit with the bodies?

I am sure.
A dead body is like a piece of dead wood.

Look, if you have no job and you get one why cant you try it.
People that handle mortuary and those guard burial grounds are ordinary human beings like you and me.
They have no juju, because they dont need it.

They are just fairy tales.
All those stories about mortuary are fable, fantasy, fiction and myth.
Its here in africa you hear those stories not any in abroad.

If I get job in mortuary for lesser salary I would jump into it.
Go and do it.
It's fairly tales abi...Try and work there naw, every mortuary attendants can never be saying the same thing...
